How to Cancel Nomi AI Subscription on Any Device

The short answer: To cancel a Nomi subscription, open Nomi, tap the Profile icon at the bottom of the home screen, open the Subscription tab, tap Manage Subscription, scroll down and tap Cancel Subscription. That works on the web, on iPhone and on Android. If Nomi tells you to cancel through an app, cancel where you paid instead: Apple ID subscriptions in Settings on iPhone, or Payments and subscriptions in the Google Play Store. You keep paid features until the period ends, and Nomi does not refund unused time.

We did not cancel a paid Nomi account for this article, so the screens are described in Nomi's own words rather than from screenshots.

How to cancel a Nomi subscription on the website

If you paid on nomi.ai in a computer or phone browser, the cancel button is inside Nomi. These are the steps from Nomi's cancellation policy.

1. Log in to Nomi in a browser, on the same account you pay with.
2. Press the Profile icon at the bottom of the Nomi home screen.
3. Select the Subscription tab in the navigation menu.
4. Press Manage Subscription.
5. Scroll down, press Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts to confirm.

One message can stop you at step four. If the Manage Subscription screen says you need to cancel through an app, your subscription was bought through Apple or Google, not on the web, and the web button cannot touch it. Use the matching section below. Nomi's policy is blunt about it: you are solely responsible for cancelling through the platform where you originally bought the plan.

When it works, take a screenshot of the confirmation. If a renewal still shows up later, that screenshot is the first thing Nomi's support or your card issuer will ask for.

How to cancel Nomi on iPhone

An App Store subscription is billed by Apple, so Apple can always cancel it, and Nomi's policy gives two routes.

From inside the Nomi app: Profile icon at the bottom of the home screen, then the Subscription tab, then Manage Subscription, then scroll down to Cancel Subscription and confirm.

From your iPhone settings: open the Settings app (not Nomi), tap your Apple ID name at the top, select Subscriptions, tap the Nomi subscription and tap Cancel Subscription. If Nomi does not appear in that list, you are probably signed in to a different Apple ID from the one that paid, which is the most common reason people think they cannot cancel.

How to cancel Nomi on Android

The in-app route is identical: Profile, Subscription tab, Manage Subscription, Cancel Subscription. The device route goes through Google Play rather than Nomi.

1. Open the Google Play Store app, not the Nomi app.
2. Check you are logged in to the Play account that paid.
3. Tap your profile icon in the top right.
4. Go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
5. Tap your Nomi subscription, tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.

Deleting the Nomi app does not cancel the subscription

Nomi's cancellation policy says it in capital letters: deleting the app does not automatically cancel your subscription. Its Terms of Service add that every paid plan renews automatically at the end of the period until you cancel, in US dollars. If you uninstalled Nomi months ago and are still being charged, the subscription is still live in Apple, Google or your Nomi web account, and the steps above are how to stop it.

What you are paying Nomi, so you can spot the charge

Nomi's policy says plans bill monthly, quarterly or yearly. These are the prices on its US App Store listing on 13 October 2026. Nomi Credits are one-time purchases, not subscriptions, so they will never renew on their own.

The quarterly row is worth a second look before you cancel. Four quarterly charges come to $159.96 a year for the same Standard plan that costs $99.99 billed yearly. Can you get a refund from Nomi?

Usually not. Nomi's refund policy says customers are not eligible for refunds due to buyer's remorse, lack of usage or dissatisfaction, and that it does not refund partial months, plan downgrades or unused time if you close your account early. It also says Nomi may offer a partial or full refund at its sole discretion, so a polite request costs nothing. Write to [email protected] or use the Billing and Subscription topic on its support form, which asks where you subscribed (Web, Apple App Store, Google Play or Not sure).

If you paid through Apple or Google, the refund request goes to them, not to Nomi, because they took the money. Apple handles it at reportaproblem.apple.com and Google from your Play order history.

What happens to your Nomis after you cancel

Less than people fear. Nomi's policy says you keep your subscription benefits until the end of the current billing period, and then the account is downgraded to the free tier. Its refund page describes the downgrade: your Nomis are not removed and you can still chat with them one on one, but paid features such as group chats, video creation, voice messages and calls become read-only. Nomi says existing group chats, images, videos and voice messages are not deleted at this time, while adding that it does not guarantee to keep content on a downgraded account.

So if you might come back, cancelling is safe. If you are leaving for good and want your data gone, cancel first, wait for the period to end, and then use Nomi's account deletion. Deleting first can leave you unsure whether the renewal stopped.

If you cannot find which account is paying

Nomi's support form has a topic for exactly this, Can't Locate Correct Account, and for a missing subscription it asks for a transaction ID, other payment confirmation, or the last four digits of your card with the card type, ZIP code and expiry date. The fastest way to get a transaction ID is the receipt email from Apple, Google or Nomi. If you have several email addresses and cannot remember which one you used, searching every email account in one place for "Nomi" usually turns up the first receipt in a minute. Support says replies take 24 to 48 hours on business days.
