The short answer: DarLink AI costs $12.99 a month for Essential, $27.99 for Advanced and $49.99 for Ultimate, according to its own plan page. Essential allows 6,000 messages a month and Advanced 9,000; only Ultimate is unlimited. Each plan adds 100, 300 or 500 coins a month, and every image costs 2 tokens and every video 20. Memory that carries over from one session to the next starts at Advanced. Quarterly and yearly billing carry 15% and 44% discount badges, and purchases are treated as final.
DarLink is hard to price from the outside. On 9 October 2026 darlink.ai answered every request we sent with a block page, from Poland and from a US server, including an address we made up as a control. So we read DarLink's own pages as the Internet Archive captured them: the plan page on 18 September 2026, with earlier captures from May and July 2026 to check whether anything moved, the token page, the refund and cancellation policy and the terms of service, both marked last updated August 2025. Every number below comes from those pages. Where two of DarLink's own documents disagree, we print both.
DarLink AI subscription prices by plan
The plan page shows each plan as a daily price in large type and the monthly price underneath. The daily figure is the monthly price divided by 30. You are charged the monthly amount.
| Plan | Shown as | Monthly price | Twelve months, paid monthly | Coins each month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $0.43 a day | $12.99 | $155.88 | 100 |
| Advanced (Most Popular) | $0.93 a day | $27.99 | $335.88 | 300 |
| Ultimate (Everything Unlocked) | $1.67 a day | $49.99 | $599.88 | 500 |
Those monthly prices were the same in the May, July and September 2026 captures. What changed was the layout around them. In May and July the page had two tabs, Monthly and Annual, with a Pay with Card button under each plan. By 18 September it had three tabs, Monthly, Quarterly marked "Save 15%" and Yearly marked "Save 44%", and a countdown at the top reading "Offer ends in 10 hrs 46 min". A countdown on a subscription page is a sales device, not a deadline, so do not let it hurry you.
What DarLink's quarterly and yearly plans cost
This is where DarLink's own numbers stop adding up, and it explains why review sites quote different prices. The quarterly and yearly amounts did not render in the archived page, so we cannot print them. What we can print are two facts from DarLink's own page that do not fit together.
- The Yearly tab says you save 44%. If that were 44% off Essential's $12.99, a year would work out to about $7.27 a month.
- DarLink's own structured data on the same page lists its lowest price as $9.99 and its highest as $49.99. No monthly plan card shows $9.99.
$9.99 is about 23% below $12.99, not 44%. So either the 44% badge is measured against something other than the same plan's monthly price, or the structured data is out of date. We have seen this before on companion sites: FantasyGF's annual "75% off" badge was measured against the price of a different, more expensive plan. Before you pay for a year, divide the yearly total on the checkout screen by 12 and compare it with $12.99, $27.99 or $49.99 yourself. That is the only saving that matters.
One more detail from DarLink's FAQ: cards work for monthly and annual plans, while crypto is accepted "only for annual plans and without auto-renewal". If you pay in crypto, you are buying one year and nothing renews.
How many messages each DarLink plan includes
The plan cards list a monthly message allowance on the two cheaper plans:
| Plan | Messages a month | About per day | Price per message at full use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | 6,000 | 200 | About 0.22 cents |
| Advanced | 9,000 | 300 | About 0.31 cents |
| Ultimate | Unlimited | No cap | Flat $49.99 |
For most people 200 messages a day is plenty, and it is fair to say so. The cap matters for long roleplay, where every short reply in a fast back and forth counts as one message and a single evening can run into the hundreds. If you hit the cap on Essential, the next step up is $15 a month more, and the step after that is $22 more again.
What DarLink tokens and coins pay for
Each plan comes with a monthly allowance of coins: 100 on Essential, 300 on Advanced and 500 on Ultimate. Every plan card lists image generation at 2 tokens and video generation at 20 tokens, so Essential's allowance covers 50 images or 5 videos a month, Advanced 150 images or 15 videos, and Ultimate 250 images or 25 videos. The plan page calls them coins and the price lines call them tokens; the token page treats them as one currency.
That token page adds something the plan cards do not. It says tokens are "used for generating images, videos, and interacting with AI characters". Token pack prices load only after you sign in, so they were not in the archived page, and we do not quote the pack prices other sites print. The practical point is that DarLink runs two meters on one subscription: messages left this month, and tokens left for pictures and anything else that draws on them.
Which DarLink plan remembers you
DarLink's FAQ defines its three memory levels in its own words. Basic memory, on Essential: "your AI Companion remembers the essentials during your sessions". Enhanced memory, on Advanced: "she keeps your preferences in mind from one session to the next". Living memory, on Ultimate: "a persistent and evolving memory that adapts over time, perfect for long-term and more realistic RP relationships".
Put plainly, if you want her to know tomorrow what you told her tonight, DarLink's own description puts that at $27.99 a month, and the version it recommends for long relationships at $49.99. That is the single most useful line to read before choosing a plan, and it is easy to miss because it sits in a collapsed FAQ under the cards.
DarLink refunds and cancellation
The terms of service, which name FameLink SA as the company behind DarLink, say plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle, that you can cancel in your account settings or through support, and that all purchases are final. The one exception: DarLink "may consider a refund or credit if a request is made within 24 hours of purchase" and you have made only minimal use of the service, at its sole discretion.
The separate refund and cancellation policy, also dated August 2025, differs in two ways. It says cancellation "takes effect once our customer support team receives your written cancellation notice", which is stricter than a button in settings. And it lists accidental purchases and change of mind as non-refundable, while refunding fraudulent charges, billing errors on DarLink's side and terminations without cause, the last one pro rata.
It also says that if you file a chargeback, DarLink may share your account and communication records with the payment processor or bank, "including private messages". The FAQ on the plan page says the opposite in spirit: "We never share your personal information with third parties, and your chats stay private." Both are DarLink's own words. If privacy is why you are reading the fine print, the realistic exposure is usually wider than one app, and a service that removes your name and address from data broker sites deals with the part already out there.
The safe way to cancel, given both documents: turn off renewal in settings, also email support in writing, keep the confirmation, and do it a few days before the renewal date. If you paid through Apple or Google, cancel in that store instead.
Is DarLink AI worth the price?
It depends on what you are buying it for. DarLink is built around pictures: a step by step creator for your girl's look, image and video generation on every plan, NSFW within its rules, up to 10 premium voices, and avatars of public personalities. If generating photos and short videos is the point, Essential at $12.99 gives you a real taste and the price is in line with the category.
If what you want is the relationship, the conversation and being remembered, the cost is higher than the entry price suggests: $27.99 a month for memory between sessions, $49.99 for unlimited messages. That is where a flat companion plan compares well. Gals.ai is one girlfriend rather than a gallery, she remembers your name and details on every plan, she texts you first from the Sweetheart plan, and nothing is metered. Hello is $9 a month billed yearly or $12 monthly, Sweetheart $19 yearly or $24 monthly, Soulmate with voice calls $39 yearly or $49 monthly. Gals.ai is tasteful rather than explicit and does not generate images, so for pictures DarLink remains the better fit.
We set the two side by side, with the reasons people switch, on our DarLink AI alternative comparison. Every plan we sell is on our pricing page, next to a dated competitor table, and if a message cap is the problem, our list of AI girlfriend apps with unlimited messages shows which ones really leave the chat unmetered. Other vendors' price lists, read the same way, are grouped on the hub of every app comparison on this site.
DarLink AI pricing questions
How much does DarLink AI cost?
DarLink AI costs $12.99 a month for Essential, $27.99 for Advanced and $49.99 for Ultimate, per its plan page as archived on 18 September 2026. Paid monthly for a year, that is $155.88, $335.88 or $599.88. Quarterly and yearly billing carry 15% and 44% discount badges, but those amounts did not render in the archive.
Is DarLink AI free?
You can create an account and look around, but long chats, memory between sessions and the monthly coin allowance come with a paid plan. DarLink's pages do not set out a stable free allowance, so check what your account shows before relying on it.
Does DarLink AI have a message limit?
Yes on two of three plans. Essential includes 6,000 messages a month and Advanced 9,000. Only Ultimate, at $49.99 a month, lists unlimited messages. Tokens for images and video are counted separately from messages.
How do I cancel my DarLink AI subscription?
Turn off renewal in your account settings and also send DarLink support a written cancellation request, because its refund policy says cancellation takes effect when support receives written notice. If you subscribed through Apple or Google, cancel in that store. You keep access until the paid period ends.
Can I get a refund from DarLink AI?
Usually not. DarLink's terms say purchases are final, with a refund considered at its discretion only within 24 hours of purchase and after minimal use. Its refund policy excludes accidental purchases and change of mind, and refunds fraud, billing errors on its side and terminations without cause.
