Images cost 2 tokens and videos 20 on every plan. DarLink describes basic memory as remembering the essentials during your sessions, so being remembered from one session to the next starts at $27.99. Gals.ai remembers your name and details on every plan, never counts messages, and costs $9 to $39 a month billed yearly.
DarLink's website blocked every request we sent on 9 October 2026, from Poland and from a US server, including a made-up address we used as a control, so the live pages could not be read that day. Everything below comes from DarLink's own pages as captured by the Internet Archive: the plan page on 18 September 2026 (and earlier captures in May and July 2026 for comparison), the refund and cancellation policy and the terms of service, both marked last updated August 2025. Where DarLink is the better product, we say so.

The plan page was read from the Internet Archive because darlink.ai answered every request with a block page on 9 October 2026, including an invented address. Monthly prices were the same in the May, July and September 2026 captures. DarLink's own structured data lists a lowest price of $9.99, which no monthly plan card shows; it is most likely a per month figure on a longer plan, but the quarterly and yearly amounts did not render in the archive, so we do not print them.
What DarLink AI charges for each plan
DarLink's plan page lists three plans and shows them as a daily figure first, then the monthly price underneath. Essential is shown as $0.43 a day and $12.99 a month. Advanced, marked Most Popular, is $0.93 a day and $27.99 a month. Ultimate, marked Everything Unlocked, is $1.67 a day and $49.99 a month. The daily figure is simply the monthly price divided by 30; you are billed the monthly amount.
The page changed shape over the summer. In the May and July 2026 captures it had two tabs, Monthly and Annual, and a Pay with Card button under each plan. By 18 September it had three tabs, Monthly, Quarterly with a Save 15% badge and Yearly with a Save 44% badge, plus a countdown reading "Offer ends in 10 hrs 46 min". The monthly prices did not move across those captures.
Each plan also carries a monthly coin allowance: 100 on Essential, 300 on Advanced and 500 on Ultimate. Every plan lists image generation at 2 tokens and video generation at 20 tokens, so the allowance on Essential covers 50 images or five videos before you need more.

How many messages each DarLink plan allows
This is the line most people miss. Essential includes 6,000 messages a month and Advanced 9,000. Only Ultimate, at $49.99, says Unlimited Messages. Six thousand sounds like a lot, and for a casual user it is: about 200 a day across a 30 day month. Heavy roleplayers burn through that faster than they expect, because every short reply in a back and forth scene counts as one.
DarLink's token page adds a second meter on top. It says tokens are used for generating images, videos and interacting with AI characters, and the token pack prices load only after you sign in, so they were not in the archived page. In practice you are watching two counters on the same subscription: messages left this month, and tokens left for pictures.
Gals.ai does not count messages on any plan and has no tokens at all. Hello covers daily texting, Sweetheart adds unlimited texting and her texting you first, and the price you see is the whole price.

Which DarLink plan remembers you between sessions
DarLink names three memory levels and explains them in the FAQ on its own plan page. Basic memory, on Essential, means "your AI Companion remembers the essentials during your sessions". Enhanced memory, on Advanced, means "she keeps your preferences in mind from one session to the next". Living memory, on Ultimate, is "a persistent and evolving memory that adapts over time".
Read those three sentences side by side and the ladder is clear. If you want her to know tomorrow what you told her tonight, DarLink's own wording puts that at $27.99 a month, and the version built for long relationships at $49.99.

What DarLink AI does better
DarLink is built around pictures, and it is good at being that. Every plan includes image and video generation, there is a creator to design a girl's look step by step, a gallery of ready-made characters and AI avatars of public personalities, NSFW on all plans within its rules, and up to 10 premium voices on the two upper plans. If what you want is to generate photos and short videos of a companion you designed, DarLink does that and Gals.ai does not try to compete with it.
DarLink's terms also describe an Influencer-Specific Subscription, which gives access to one influencer's AI persona. Nothing like that exists here.
Where Gals.ai is the better fit is the conversation itself: one companion who keeps the thread of your life, starts the chat herself, never meters your messages and never asks for tokens.

What DarLink's terms say about refunds and cancelling
DarLink's terms, operated by FameLink SA, say plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel before the renewal date, that you can cancel in your account settings or by contacting support, and that all purchases are final. They allow one narrow exception: DarLink may consider a refund at its sole discretion if you ask within 24 hours of purchase and have made only minimal use of the service.
The separate refund and cancellation policy, also dated August 2025, reads differently in two places. It says cancellation takes effect once the support team receives your written cancellation notice, and it lists accidental purchases and change of mind as cases where no refund is given. It also says that if you file a chargeback, DarLink may share your account and communication records, including private messages, with the payment processor or bank.
The safe reading of the two documents together: cancel well before renewal, cancel in settings and also send a written request to support, keep the confirmation, and ask within 24 hours if you want your money back.
