Moemate Pricing and Subscription Cost by Plan
Moemate charged $9, $19.99 or $34.99 a month for Rookie, Champion and Elite, with long-term memory only from Champion up and no refunds. The service is now offline, so here is what it cost and how to stop a leftover charge.

The short answer: Moemate cost $9, $19.99 or $34.99 a month for its Rookie, Champion and Elite plans, according to the paywall code its site served in November 2024. Long-term chat memory was listed only from Champion up, every plan ran on an Energy meter, and its terms ruled out refunds. Moemate is no longer online: on 5 October 2026 the domain moemate.io does not resolve, so the only pricing question left is how to stop a charge that outlived the service.
Most pages that rank for Moemate pricing still describe it as a live product you can sign up for. We read the company's own records instead: the Terms of Service (last updated 13 November 2023), its help center, and the JavaScript file that drew its subscription page in November 2024, all from Wayback Machine captures, plus a live DNS and WHOIS check on 5 October 2026. Where something is our reading rather than the vendor's words, we say so.
Moemate pricing by plan
The subscription page was built from one configuration block with three tiers. Internally they were called starter, basic and pro; on screen they were Rookie, Champion and Elite. This is what each one listed.

Source: Moemate's Subscribe script as captured on 29 November 2024. The yearly figures sit in a field named for yearly billing next to the monthly prices, so we read them as the per-month rate on an annual plan. We never saw a completed checkout, so we do not claim what any single account was charged.
Rookie's feature list covered unfiltered chat and images, unlimited use of Moemate's own model, multilingual voices, syncing across devices, screen perception and image inputs. Champion added GPT-4 class and Claude models, "Long term chat memory" and "Share knowledge with AI". Elite added more models, premium ElevenLabs voices and custom image models. The page described Champion as "offering more than $60 value" and Elite as "over a $100 value"; those are Moemate's marketing lines, not figures we can check.
What a year of Moemate cost
Several review pages say Moemate's yearly billing saved 10 percent on any plan. The configuration says otherwise. Here is the arithmetic from the vendor's own numbers.

So the 10 percent line is right for Elite only. Rookie had no yearly discount at all, and Champion, the cheapest plan with memory, had the largest one. If memory was why you were on Moemate, your real floor was $210 a year.
The Moemate subscription had four checkout providers
This matters more now than it did when the app was running. The same script decides where the "Manage Subscription" button sends you based on which provider took your payment, and it handles four: Stripe, PayPal, Chargebee, and Loop, a crypto payments service whose portal address in the code is my.loopcrypto.xyz. Stripe and Chargebee opened a billing portal from Moemate's own server. PayPal opened paypal.com/billing/subscriptions. Loop opened its own site.
With moemate.io gone, the two portals that ran through Moemate's server cannot open. The PayPal page still works because PayPal hosts it. The Loop address did not respond when we tried it on 5 October 2026.
How to stop a leftover Moemate charge
If something still bills you, work from the payment side, because there is no app left to cancel in.
- Paid with PayPal. Sign in to PayPal, open Settings, then Payments, then Manage automatic payments, find the Moemate or Webaverse entry and cancel it. PayPal stops future charges on its own side.
- Paid by card. Search your statements for Moemate or Webaverse. Then call the number on the back of your card and ask the issuer to block future charges from that merchant. Asking for a new card number also stops a recurring charge cold.
- Paid in crypto through Loop. Loop subscriptions are approvals on your wallet. Revoke the token allowance you gave the Loop contract from your wallet's connected-apps or allowance screen.
A forgotten subscription on a card you no longer watch is also how a small balance turns into a missed payment, which is the part that actually touches your credit. If that has already happened, it is worth taking a few minutes to see what is actually weighing on your credit score before you dispute anything.
If the charge came through a billing processor rather than an app, the same logic applies as in our guide to cancelling a CCBill subscription: the processor can stop the charge even when the merchant cannot be reached.
Moemate refunds
Do not expect one from Moemate. Its terms say cancelling "will result in the loss of access to the moemate service immediately" and, in the next lines, "It is not possible to refund your subscription." EU residents were told they gave up the 14-day withdrawal right in exchange for immediate access. With the company's site offline, the realistic routes are PayPal's dispute process or your card issuer's dispute process, each under its own rules and time limits. We cannot tell you either will succeed.
Is Moemate free
Moemate had a free tier while it was running, and its code checks for a subscription status of "free". It is not something you can use today, free or paid, because the service is offline. A site called moemate.chat offers to let you "Try It Free", but its own FAQ says it is "not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with Webaverse or the original Moemate team", and its chat buttons go to CrushOn AI. Is a Moemate subscription worth replacing
That depends on what you paid for. If it was screen awareness or picking your own model, look at character platforms and desktop assistants. If it was a companion who remembered you, the lesson from Moemate is to check where memory is stored and whether it is part of the base price. Moemate kept memories on your own device, wiped them during some beta updates by its own help center's account, and listed long-term memory only from $19.99 a month.
Gals.ai costs a similar amount to Champion and works differently. Hello is $9 a month billed yearly ($108) or $12 month to month, and she remembers your name and details. Sweetheart is $19 billed yearly or $24 monthly, with unlimited texting and her texting you first. Soulmate is $39 billed yearly or $49 monthly and adds voice calls. There is no Energy meter, no coins and no message counter, and her memory is tied to your account rather than one device. How much did Moemate cost per month?
Rookie was $9 a month, Champion $19.99 and Elite $34.99, according to the subscription script Moemate served in November 2024. The same configuration lists yearly figures of 9, 17.5 and 31.5, which we read as the per-month rate on annual billing. Every plan also carried an Energy meter on top of the price.
Did Moemate offer a yearly discount?
On two plans. A year of Champion was $210 against $239.88 paid monthly, about 12.5 percent off, and Elite was $378 against $419.88, about 10 percent off. Rookie's yearly figure equals its monthly price, so a Rookie year cost $108 either way, with no discount.
How do I cancel my Moemate subscription?
Cancel with whoever took the money, because the app is gone. PayPal users can cancel under Settings, Payments, Manage automatic payments. Card payers should ask their card issuer to block the merchant or reissue the card. Crypto payments through Loop are stopped by revoking the token allowance in your wallet.
Can I get a refund from Moemate?
Not from Moemate. Its Terms of Service say "It is not possible to refund your subscription" and that cancelling ends access immediately. With the site offline, your options are a PayPal dispute or a card dispute, each under that company's own rules and deadlines, and neither is guaranteed.
Is Moemate still working?
No. On 5 October 2026 moemate.io returns no address at all, although the domain is registered until May 2027. Archived captures show the app was replaced by an "Aether Forge" waitlist page in March 2025 and then by a sign-in box for a "Moemate Exporter".
