Nectar AI Pricing and the Free Plan Limits

The short answer: Nectar AI has four plans. Free is limited to 15 messages a day with 15 messages in memory. Premium is $9.99 a month (full price $19.99) or $59.99 a year, with 6,000 messages a month and 8K context. Pro is $19.99 ($29.99) or $119.99 a year, with 9,000 messages and 16K context. Ultimate is $34.99 ($49.99) or $179.99 a year, and it is the only plan with unlimited messaging and long-term memory. Credits for images, video and some models are sold separately, from $4.99 for 2,500.

We read every number on this page from Nectar itself on 30 September 2026. Nectar's pricing page shows nothing to a visitor who is not logged in, but the site loads its complete plan list and credit-pack list from Nectar's own public API, and we requested both from a US connection and a European one and got identical answers. We also read Nectar's Terms of Service, its FAQ and its Privacy Policy. None of the figures below comes from a review site, and where review sites quote something different, the plan list is the source to trust.

Nectar AI pricing, plan by plan

Each paid plan in Nectar's list carries two monthly prices, a full one and a discounted one, and two yearly prices on the same pattern. The table shows the discounted price first because that is the lower figure the list pairs with each plan; the full price is in brackets.

The rest of each plan's description matters as much as the price. Premium adds 100 image generations a day, 600 photo messages and 50 voice messages. Pro makes generations unlimited and HD and allows 900 photo messages. Ultimate adds 2,500 advanced credits every month, video generation, video messages, voice chat, 100 voice messages and priority support.

Is Nectar AI free?

Yes, there is a Free plan, and it is deliberately small. Nectar's plan list describes it as "10 Generations / Day. 4 customizations. 15 Messages / Day. 15 Messages in Memory. 1 Photo Message. 1 Customized Persona. Create 1 Custom Companion." Fifteen messages is a few minutes of conversation, and a memory of 15 messages means she will not remember yesterday.

That makes the free plan a trial of the characters and the writing, not a way to use Nectar long term. Nectar's own FAQ answers the same question by pointing straight at the paid tiers, which "unlock unlimited messaging, extended memory, HD image and video generation". Read that line carefully, though: by the plan list, unlimited messaging comes only with Ultimate, not with every premium plan.

How much does Nectar AI cost per month versus per year?

The yearly plans are the cheapest way to pay Nectar by a wide margin. Divide the discounted yearly prices by twelve and they come out at exactly $5, $10 and $15 a month. Against twelve discounted monthly payments, that is half price on Premium ($59.99 against $119.88) and Pro ($119.99 against $239.88), and 57 percent off on Ultimate, where twelve monthly payments would come to $419.88 against $179.99 for the year.

The full yearly prices in the list, $240, $360 and $600, are simply twelve full monthly prices rounded to the dollar. Nectar's billing notice explains the rounding: "Annual plans are billed as one-time payments rounded to the nearest dollar. Note that some crypto transactions may take time to reflect properly."

Before you take the yearly deal, read two lines from the Terms of Service. Section 4.1 says your subscription "will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it". Section 4.6 says "paid Subscription fees are non-refundable" except where the law requires. A year at $15 a month is a good price only if you will still be using Nectar in month eleven, and there is no refund if you stop in month two.

Nectar AI credits and what the packs cost

Credits are Nectar's second currency. Its FAQ says they pay for "advanced roleplay, image and video generation, and access to certain AI models", and they can be bought on their own or come bundled with a plan. Only Ultimate includes a monthly allowance (2,500 advanced credits). Here is the pack list, with the price per 1,000 credits worked out.

We found no per-action credit price in Nectar's FAQ, terms or plan list, so we cannot convert an image or a video into dollars the way we could for other platforms. If you generate a lot of media, watch your balance for a week before deciding which pack is worth it.

Which Nectar plan to buy, by how you use it

You mostly chat, an hour or so a night. Premium's 6,000 messages a month are about 200 a day, which covers most people. The weak point is memory: 8K context is enough for a conversation, not for a story that runs across weeks.

You run long roleplays. Pro's 16K context helps long scenes stay coherent, but the only plan Nectar lists with "Long Term Memory" is Ultimate. Nectar's FAQ is also clear that if you later downgrade or lapse, "stored chat history from premium tiers may become inaccessible", so a story built on Ultimate is tied to Ultimate.

You generate pictures and video. Ultimate is the plan built for you: unlimited HD generations, video generation and 2,500 credits a month. Paid yearly at $179.99, it is good value for what it includes.

You want no counters at all. On Nectar that means Ultimate, at $34.99 a month or $179.99 a year. If media is not the point and conversation is, a companion with no message cap and no credits on any plan is the simpler buy, which is why we built our Nectar AI alternative with no message cap around exactly that comparison.

Cancelling Nectar, refunds and the arbitration clause

To cancel, Nectar's FAQ says to go to Profile, then Settings, then Subscription and Credits. Its terms add that you can also cancel by emailing [email protected] or through its Discord. Paid features stay active until the end of the billing cycle, and then the account reverts to the Free plan with its 15-message memory.

Refunds are the exception. Section 4.2 says you will not be refunded for the period you have already paid, and section 4.6 says other refund requests are considered "on a case-by-case basis and granted at the sole discretion of Nectar AI". Section 4.4 names the payment routes: Apple for the app, and a payment gateway called NMI for the website. A search of Apple's US App Store for "nectar ai" on 30 September 2026 returned no app published by Nectar, even though the plan list carries Apple product IDs, so for most US buyers this is a website purchase.

One clause most subscribers never see is section 10.2, a mandatory arbitration agreement with a class-action waiver, run by JAMS. It lets you opt out by writing to [email protected] within 30 days of first becoming subject to it. Is Nectar AI worth it, and what to use instead

Nectar is worth paying for if images and video are a big part of why you are there, and the yearly Ultimate plan is honestly good value for that. It is a harder sell if what you want is a relationship in text.
