Cancel Nectar AI Subscription and What Happens to Your Chats
You want Nectar to stop charging you, or you are about to pay for a year and want to know what stopping costs. The results for this question are subscription-tracker pages and generic delete guides. So we read the source: Nectar's own FAQ and its Terms of Use.

The short answer
To cancel a Nectar AI subscription, go to Profile, then Settings, then Subscription and Credits on nectar.ai and cancel there, or email [email protected]. Nectar's FAQ says premium features stay active until the end of the billing cycle, then the account reverts to the free plan, and that premium memory features become unavailable and premium chat history may become inaccessible. Its Terms say paid fees are non-refundable except when required by law, and that no refund is given for the period already paid. Deleting an account is done through support and is permanent. Read from Nectar's own FAQ and Terms of Use (version 2.2) on 1 November 2026.
The short version is that cancelling is easy and takes about a minute, but it is not free of consequences. The memory that makes a long story hold together is a paid feature, and Nectar says plainly that it goes away when the plan ends.

|---|---|---|
| Cancel the plan | Profile, Settings, Subscription and Credits, or email [email protected] or use the Discord | You cancel the renewal, not the period already paid |
| Keep access after cancelling | Premium features stay active until the end of the billing cycle | Then the account reverts to the free plan |
| Keep premium chat memory | Premium memory becomes unavailable when the plan ends | Premium chat history may become inaccessible |
| Get a refund | Non-refundable except when required by law, case by case at Nectar's discretion | No refund for the current period, so cancel before renewal |
| Delete the account | Contact support through Discord or email [email protected] | Permanent, and it does not say it cancels billing |
| Gals.ai | Your account | One step, no credits to lose |

How to cancel Nectar AI on the website
Nectar's FAQ answers this in one line: go to Profile, then Settings, then Subscription and Credits, where you can update, change or cancel your plan at any time. Section 4.2 of its Terms of Use adds two other routes. You can email [email protected], or open a ticket on Nectar's Discord, and ask for the renewal to be cancelled.
The Terms use a careful phrase, "cancel your Subscription renewal". That is what cancelling is. Nothing is clawed back and nothing ends early. The charge that already went through stays paid, and the plan simply does not bill again at the end of the period.
Take a screenshot of the confirmation screen, or keep the email if one arrives, and check the date it shows for the end of the period. If you later see another charge, that screenshot is what you send to support.
- Profile, Settings, Subscription and Credits
- Cancel there at any time
- Or email [email protected] or use the Discord
- Screenshot the end date you are shown
What happens to your access and your chats when you cancel
On access, the FAQ is clear. Your premium features stay active until the end of your current billing cycle, and after that the account reverts to the free plan. You do not lose the account, only the paid tier.
On chats, read the memory answer carefully. Nectar's FAQ says that when a subscription ends, "Premium memory features become unavailable", that "stored chat history from premium tiers may become inaccessible", and that the free plan's memory limits apply to the account going forward. The free plan's own description is 15 messages a day and 15 messages in memory.
So cancelling is not neutral for a long roleplay. If a story matters to you, copy what you want to keep before the period ends, because the memory that made it coherent is a paid feature. That is the real cost of a lapse, more than the price of one more month.
- Paid features last until the end of the cycle
- Then the account reverts to the free plan
- Premium memory is unavailable after the plan ends
- Premium chat history may become inaccessible
Nectar AI refunds, and the terms behind them
The refund position is stated twice. Section 4.2 says you will not receive a refund for the fees you already paid for the current period. Section 4.6 says paid subscription fees are non-refundable except when required by law, and that certain requests may be considered "on a case-by-case basis" at Nectar's sole discretion. If you bought through the iPhone app, section 4.4 says payments go through Apple, and the Terms point to Apple for a refund if the app fails to conform to a warranty. Website payments go through a payment gateway called NMI.
That means the practical advice is to cancel before the renewal date, not after. If you were charged by mistake, email [email protected] with the date and amount and ask. It is a request, not an entitlement.
One more clause matters if a dispute drags on. Section 10.2 is a mandatory arbitration agreement with a class action waiver. The notice at the top of the Terms flags it, and the arbitration section describes an opt-out window, so read it before you pay for a year.
- No refund for the period already paid
- Non-refundable unless the law requires it
- Case by case at Nectar's discretion
- Cancel before the renewal date, not after
Deleting your Nectar account does not stop the billing question
Nectar's FAQ says that to delete an account you contact support through Discord or email [email protected], and that deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. There is no delete button for you to press.
Nothing in that answer says deletion cancels a subscription, so do the two in order. Cancel the plan first, confirm the end date, and only then ask for deletion if you still want it. Since a lapsed plan already costs you premium chat history, deleting is the final step, not the first.
- Delete requests go through Discord or [email protected]
- Deletion is permanent
- Cancel first, confirm the date, then delete
What Nectar AI costs, so you can judge a year
From Nectar's own plan list, read on 30 September 2026, Premium lists at $9.99 a month, Pro at $19.99 and Ultimate at $34.99, each shown against a higher full price, and the yearly prices are $59.99, $119.99 and $179.99. Credits for images, video and some models are bought in packs on top. Only Ultimate lists unlimited messaging and long-term memory, with Premium capped at 6,000 messages a month.
That is why people end up searching how to cancel: the plan that fixes the memory problem is the most expensive one, and the cheaper ones count messages. Annual plans are billed as one-time payments, so cancelling a yearly plan mid-year still leaves you with a paid year, which is worth knowing before you choose one.
- Premium $9.99, Pro $19.99, Ultimate $34.99 monthly
- Yearly: $59.99, $119.99, $179.99
- Credits sold separately for images and video
- Unlimited messaging and long-term memory: Ultimate only
Every tier, credit pack and cap is broken down in our Nectar AI pricing guide if you are deciding between cancelling and downgrading.
A flat alternative to Nectar AI
Nectar sells several tiers, a credit currency and a message counter. Gals.ai is built for a different evening: one companion who remembers you, your name, your job, the interview you were nervous about, and who texts you first in the morning and at night instead of waiting for you to open the app.
The pricing is the opposite of tiers and packs. Three flat plans, Hello from $9 a month billed yearly, Sweetheart with voice notes, Soulmate with voice calls. Memory is part of every plan and messages are never counted. You cancel from your account in one step and keep access to the end of the period you paid for. If image and video generation is the reason you use Nectar, it fits better than we do.
- Hello from $9 a month billed yearly
- She texts you first and remembers months of conversation
- Memory on every plan, messages never counted
- Cancel from your account in one step

How to check every claim on this page yourself
It takes a few minutes. Open nectar.ai/faq and read the Subscription and Billing and the Memory and Chat Behavior sections, then nectar.ai/tos and read section 4 on subscriptions. We checked that an invented path on nectar.ai returns a real 404 on 1 November 2026, so those pages are real documents and not a catch-all. The Terms read Version 2.2, last revised 15 August 2026. What people ask about cancelling Nectar AI
How do I cancel my Nectar AI subscription?
Go to Profile, then Settings, then Subscription and Credits and cancel the plan there. You can also email [email protected] or open a ticket on Nectar's Discord. Premium features stay active until the end of the billing cycle, then the account reverts to the free plan.
Can I get a refund from Nectar AI?
Probably not. Nectar's Terms say paid fees are non-refundable except when required by law, and that requests may be considered case by case at Nectar's discretion. You are not refunded for the period already paid, so cancel before the renewal date. App purchases go through Apple.
What happens to my chats when my Nectar subscription ends?
Nectar's FAQ says premium memory features become unavailable when the subscription ends, and stored chat history from premium tiers may become inaccessible. The free plan's limits then apply. Copy anything you want to keep before the period ends.
How do I delete my Nectar AI account?
Contact support through Discord or email [email protected] to request it. Nectar says deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Nothing in the answer says deleting cancels billing, so cancel the plan first and confirm the end date.
Does Nectar AI renew automatically?
Yes. Section 4.1 of the Terms says a subscription renews automatically under the exact same conditions at the end of each period unless you or Nectar cancel it. Annual plans are billed as one-time payments, so a cancelled yearly plan still runs to the end of the paid year.
How much is Nectar AI?
From Nectar's own plan list on 30 September 2026, Premium is $9.99 a month, Pro $19.99 and Ultimate $34.99, with yearly prices of $59.99, $119.99 and $179.99. Credits for images and video are sold separately, so the price you see can differ.
