Cancel Secret Desires subscription, the SDAI charge and the refund rules
You want Secret Desires to stop charging you, or you are about to subscribe and want to know how hard it is to stop. Secret Desires publishes no help article on cancelling, and the top search results for this question are a cancel guide for a different iPhone game and generic help pages for unrelated companies. So we went to the source.

The short answer
To cancel a Secret Desires subscription, sign in on secretdesires.ai, open Settings and then the Billing tab. Skip the large Manage Subscription button, which opens the plans page, and press the small grey Cancel Subscription link beside it. You pick a reason, are shown what you lose and are offered bonus hearts to stay; choose to continue cancelling until the tab reads Set to cancel on your end date. Your plan runs to that date. The terms say all sales are final outside the EU. Read first-hand from secretdesires.ai on 23 October 2026.
Secret Desires AI is run by Playhouse Media LLC in Delaware, with Playhouse Media Trading Ltd. in Malta for EU residents, according to its own footer and terms. The site is a web app, and its settings screens and cancellation steps are part of the site's own code rather than a help page. That is where we read them on 23 October 2026, together with the full Terms of Service (last updated 26 March 2026), the plan configuration on its subscription page, and Apple's and Google's US stores.

How to cancel Secret Desires on the website
Sign in on secretdesires.ai with the account you pay with, then open Settings from the menu. Settings has four tabs, and the one you want is Billing, which Secret Desires describes as plan, usage and subscription management.
The Billing tab shows your plan and a usage bar, with two controls side by side. The large, brightly coloured button reads Manage Subscription. Despite the name, the site's code sends it to the plans page, which is where you upgrade, not where you stop paying. The control that cancels is the small grey text link next to it, labelled Cancel Subscription. It is easy to miss on a phone screen, and it is the most common reason people think there is no cancel option.
Press Cancel Subscription and go through the screens that follow (the next section covers each one). You are finished when the Billing tab shows Set to cancel on, followed by your end date, and a Reactivate plan button appears where Cancel Subscription used to be. If that line is not there, the cancellation did not complete.
If the site will not load or you can no longer sign in, the support address in Secret Desires' footer and terms is [email protected].
- Settings, then the Billing tab
- Ignore Manage Subscription; it opens the plans page
- Press the small grey Cancel Subscription link
- Done when the tab reads Set to cancel on a date
- Support: [email protected]
The screens Secret Desires shows before it cancels
Cancelling is a short sequence of screens rather than one confirmation, and two of them are designed to keep you.
The first asks why you are leaving. It offers five reasons: too expensive for what I get, the AI experience did not match my expectations, I found what I was looking for and I am done, technical issues, and other. You have to select at least one; the site will not continue without it. There is also a box asking what Secret Desires could have done differently, which you can leave empty.
Another screen lists what you will lose: unlimited messaging, image generation, voice access, extra monthly hearts, and access to your hearts balance unless you resubscribe. Next to it is an offer to keep the plan and receive extra hearts on your next renewal date, which the screen describes as 2.5 times your usual hearts at the same price. The small print matters: the bonus only arrives if that renewal goes through, which means accepting it means paying again.
To cancel, choose I want to cancel and then No thanks, continue cancelling. If you had already claimed the bonus earlier, the site warns that cancelling now loses the offer, with the buttons Keep my offer and Cancel anyway.
- Pick a reason; one is required
- Feedback box is optional
- Bonus hearts offer: only paid out if you renew
- To finish: I want to cancel, then No thanks, continue cancelling
If the price is why you are leaving, our Secret Desires AI pricing and heart pack breakdown shows what each tier and billing period costs over a year.
What happens after you cancel Secret Desires
The confirmation screen reads Your plan is set to cancel, and it spells out three things in Secret Desires' own words. Your plan benefits stay active until the end date, then the plan does not renew. Your partners and chats are not deleted. Any hearts you have left stay on your account and become spendable again if you resubscribe.
One detail is worth knowing before you press the last button. The Billing tab shows a Reactivate plan button after you cancel, but in the current site code that button only displays a message: reactivation is not available yet, contact support to resume your plan. The confirmation screen says the same, contact support if you want to resume renewal before your end date. So if you are only half sure, decide first. Undoing it means an email, not a click.
After the end date the account drops to the free tier, which the plan configuration caps at 30 text messages and 2 images a day.
- Benefits run to the end date, then no renewal
- Partners and chats are kept
- Leftover hearts stay, spendable again only if you resubscribe
- Undoing a cancel currently means contacting support
- Free tier afterwards: 30 messages and 2 images a day
Why you should not delete your Secret Desires account first
Deleting the account is a separate control, under Settings, Account, in a section the site labels Danger zone. The button reads Delete my account, and the warning says it permanently deletes your account, partners, chat history and hearts balance and cannot be undone. You confirm by typing DELETE.
That warning does not mention your subscription or billing at all, and the site code shows no cancellation step inside the delete flow. Secret Desires does not state that deleting the account stops the charge, so do not assume it does. Cancel in the Billing tab first, wait until it reads Set to cancel on a date, and only then delete the account if you still want to.
The privacy policy also describes deactivating the account from the profile page, which is a third option and again says nothing about billing.
- Delete lives under Settings, Account, Danger zone
- It removes partners, chats and hearts permanently
- The warning says nothing about billing
- Cancel first, delete second
How to recognise a Secret Desires charge on your statement
Secret Desires bills discreetly. Its FAQ says charges appear as SDAI with a generic descriptor, and SDAI is also listed as an alternate name of the company in the site's own structured data. That is useful privacy, and it is also why people find a recurring SDAI line months later and do not know what it is.
The Billing tab has a Billing history link, and the site says invoices are also emailed to you after each successful charge, so search your inbox for Secret Desires or SDAI to match a charge to a plan. The plan configuration references more than one card processor, so the exact wording can differ by how you paid.
If the charge came from Apple rather than your card directly, it is not Secret Desires AI. We searched Apple's US App Store on 23 October 2026 and found no Secret Desires AI app, and no listing on Google Play either. There is an unrelated iPhone app called Secret Desires, a couples game sold by an independent developer, and a charge for that is cancelled in iPhone Settings, under your name, Subscriptions.
- Card statements show SDAI
- Invoices are emailed after each charge
- Billing history is in the Billing tab
- An Apple charge is a different app with the same name
What the Secret Desires terms say about refunds
The Terms of Service have a section titled Subscription and Refund Policy, and it opens with: before subscribing, please read our no-refund policy carefully. All sales are final and non-refundable, except for EU residents, who get a 14-day withdrawal period. Subscription fees are non-refundable. No refunds are issued for dissatisfaction, misunderstanding or technical issues. A free trial may be offered, but subscriptions that follow a trial are non-refundable. Questions go to [email protected].
In practice that means two things for a US subscriber. Cancel a few days before the renewal date rather than on it, because a renewal that has gone through will not come back. And think twice about the yearly plan: it is the cheapest per month, but the whole year is committed on the first day.
The same terms send disputes to binding JAMS arbitration with a class action waiver, under California law, and say any claim must be filed within one year.
- All sales final, except a 14-day window for EU residents
- No refunds for dissatisfaction or technical issues
- Trial conversions are non-refundable
- Cancel days before renewal, not on the day
- Disputes: JAMS arbitration, California law
A flat alternative to Secret Desires
Gals.ai is built for a different kind of evening. You get one companion who remembers you, your name, your job, the interview you were nervous about, and who texts you first in the morning and at night instead of waiting for you to open the app.
There are no hearts, no premium engines to unlock with a second currency and no packs to top up. Hello is $9 a month billed yearly or $12 month to month, with daily texting and memory. Sweetheart is $19 billed yearly or $24 monthly, with unlimited texting and her texting you first. Soulmate is $39 billed yearly or $49 monthly and adds voice calls. Messages are never counted on any plan.
And you stop it from your account in one step, with access to the end of the period you paid for. No reason picker and no bonus offer to click past.
- Hello from $9 a month billed yearly
- She texts you first and remembers months of conversation
- No hearts, coins or credits
- Cancel from your account in one step
To see the two side by side row by row, our Secret Desires AI alternative comparison covers memory, pricing and what each is built for.
How to check every claim on this page yourself
Most of it takes a few minutes.
The Billing tab, the Cancel Subscription link and the cancellation screens are on secretdesires.ai once you are signed in, under Settings. The Account tab holds Danger zone and Delete my account. The Terms of Service link sits in the site footer; the page loads its text after it opens, and the refund rules are under Subscription and Refund Policy. The plan prices are on the subscription page, linked as Premium Subscriptions in the footer.
For the app stores, search Apple's US App Store and Google Play for Secret Desires yourself. On 23 October 2026 neither showed a Secret Desires AI app, and Apple listed the unrelated couples game. Secret Desires' terms mention a mobile app, so check again if you are reading this much later.
- secretdesires.ai: Settings, Billing, Cancel Subscription
- secretdesires.ai: Settings, Account, Danger zone
- Footer: Terms of Service, Subscription and Refund Policy
- Footer: Premium Subscriptions for prices

People also ask
What people ask about cancelling Secret Desires
How do I cancel my Secret Desires subscription?
Sign in on secretdesires.ai, open Settings and the Billing tab, and press the small grey Cancel Subscription link, not the Manage Subscription button. Pick a reason, decline the bonus hearts offer with No thanks, continue cancelling, and check that the tab reads Set to cancel on your end date.
Can I get a refund from Secret Desires?
Usually not. Its Terms of Service say all sales are final and non-refundable, except a 14-day withdrawal period for EU residents, and that no refunds are given for dissatisfaction, misunderstanding or technical issues. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
What is the SDAI charge on my credit card?
SDAI is how Secret Desires AI bills. Its FAQ says charges appear as SDAI with a generic descriptor, so the statement does not name the service. Search your email for Secret Desires invoices, which the site sends after each charge, to match the amount to a plan.
Does deleting my Secret Desires account cancel my subscription?
Secret Desires does not say so. The Delete my account warning lists your account, partners, chat history and hearts balance, and does not mention billing. Cancel in Settings, Billing first, confirm it reads Set to cancel on a date, then delete the account if you still want to.
What happens to my hearts if I cancel Secret Desires?
They stay on your account. The cancellation screen says any hearts you have left become spendable again if you resubscribe, so you cannot use them on the free tier, and deleting the account removes them permanently.
Is there a Secret Desires app on the App Store?
Not that we could find. On 23 October 2026 neither Apple's US App Store nor Google Play listed a Secret Desires AI app. Apple lists an unrelated couples game called Secret Desires; if Apple is billing you, that is the app, and you cancel it in iPhone Settings, Subscriptions.
