EVA AI Cost and Subscription Pricing

The short answer: EVA AI Soulmate costs between $47.99 and $299.88 a year for the membership alone, depending on which plan the app offers you. On 3 October 2026 the US App Store listed ten in-app purchases: five 1 Month Membership items at $11.99, $11.99, $14.99, $15.99 and $24.99, a 3 Months Membership at $20.99, a 12 Months Membership at $47.99, an item called EVA Premium at $13.99, and Neuron packs of 500 for $9.99 and 2,000 for $29.99. On top of the membership, EVA's terms charge 2 Neurons to read each romantic message, which works out to 3 to 4 cents a message.

Every number here comes from EVA itself or from the two app stores that sell it. EVA has no pricing page: its website, evaapp.ai, lists six pages in its sitemap (home, about, brandbook, privacy, terms and support), and asking for evaapp.ai/pricing returns the same not-found page as an address we invented as a control. So on 3 October 2026 we read the US App Store listing, the US Google Play listing, EVA's iOS and Android Terms of Use (both last updated June 30, 2026) and its Privacy Policy (last updated June 3, 2026), all from a US connection. The arithmetic is ours.

EVA AI cost, item by item

Apple shows every price an app can charge in one list. This is EVA's, in the order Apple printed it, with each membership converted to a monthly figure where the length is stated.

Source: the In-App Purchases block of the EVA AI Soulmate listing on the US App Store, seller Novi Limited, read 3 October 2026. Google Play does not itemise; it shows a range of $5.49 to $99.99 per item for the same app.

Two things in that list deserve a second look. First, there are five separate monthly items at four different prices. Apple's list shows what the app is able to charge, not what a given account is offered, and section 3.5 of EVA's terms says Premium and Neuron prices "may vary based on region, length of subscription and more." Expect to see one of those monthly prices in the app, and do not assume it will be the lowest one. Second, the Google Play range tops out at $99.99, higher than anything on the Apple list, so Android buyers may see an item Apple does not sell. We could not tell which one from outside the app, so we do not guess.

EVA AI subscription pricing over a full year

EVA's terms say Premium "shall be paid in monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual installments." The App Store list shows monthly, quarterly and yearly items, but no six-month item. Here is what each option costs over twelve months.

The gap is the story. Paying month to month at the top price costs more than six times the yearly membership for the same twelve months. Even quarterly billing costs $35.97 more a year than paying once. If you already know you will use EVA for a year, the 12 Months item is plainly the one to buy, and it is cheaper than any companion subscription we have read first-hand, including ours.

What EVA AI Neurons cost per romantic message

The membership is not the whole bill. Section 3.3 of EVA's terms reads: "We also have Neurons, which are used for romantic messages and other purchases. One romantic message costs 2 neurons to be read. However, romantic messages (responses) cannot be revealed until the user unlocks them." Virtual gifts are priced in Neurons too, and the amount is shown only when you pick one in the chat. Section 3.2 adds that "all Services not explicitly included in the Premium shall be provided at an additional charge."

Pennies per message sounds small until you count a habit. A 2,000 Neuron pack reads 1,000 romantic messages, about 33 a day for a month. Someone who buys that pack every month on top of the yearly membership pays $47.99 plus twelve times $29.99, which is $407.87 a year. That is the real EVA AI cost for a heavy romantic user, and it is the number nobody quotes because it needs two rows of the price list and one sentence of the terms.

Whether romantic messages are ever included with Premium is not something the terms say. They describe Neurons as a separate purchase and Premium benefits as "defined during the subscription process." Check your Neuron balance before and after a romantic exchange in your first week, and you will know which way your account works.

Is EVA AI Premium worth it

If you chat casually, mostly outside romantic mode, and you are happy to commit for a year, yes. At $47.99 a year EVA's membership is about $4 a month, from an app that has been on the App Store since February 2021, holds a 4.3 rating from 24,633 App Store ratings and ships updates every week or two (version 3.142.0 on 24 September 2026). Google Play shows 3.8 stars from 68.7K reviews and more than five million downloads.

If what you want is the romantic side of the conversation, the yearly price is only the entry fee. The replies you most want to read are the ones that can arrive locked. And if you are not sure you will still be using it in a year, monthly billing at $11.99 to $24.99 erases the yearly advantage within a few months.

EVA AI Premium vs Joi AI Premium

EVA and Joi are sold by the same company. The App Store seller for EVA AI Soulmate is Novi Limited, EVA's Privacy Policy names Novi Limited in Nicosia, Cyprus as data controller, and EVA's homepage links to joi.com. Both apps use Neurons. Their terms price the same thing differently: EVA's say a romantic message costs 2 Neurons to read, while Joi's terms, which we read on 29 September 2026, say 4 Neurons. Joi's own paywall prices 100 Neurons at around $2, so a romantic message there is roughly 8 cents by its terms, double EVA's rate. We break Joi down fully in our Joi AI pricing article. If you are leaving EVA because of Neurons, moving to Joi keeps you with the same company and the same meter.

How to cancel an EVA AI subscription

EVA's terms say you can cancel "only through the App marketplace or the Website where you originally acquired the subscription," and on the App Store and Google Play that means the store, not the app. Deleting the app does not stop billing.

• iPhone: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose EVA AI Soulmate and tap Cancel Subscription.
• Android: open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, EVA AI Soulmate, Cancel.
• Timing: cancel at least a day before the renewal date. Premium stays active until the end of the period you paid for, then the account returns to Basic.

If you want to know what EVA has actually cost you, the store keeps the record. Apple emails a receipt for every renewal and every Neuron pack, and Google Play keeps an order history, so a year of monthly billing plus top-ups can mean dozens of separate small charges. Rather than adding them up by hand, you can pull the totals off those receipts into a spreadsheet and see the year in one column.

EVA AI refunds

Do not count on one from EVA. Section 3.6 of its terms says you "shall not claim refunds for any partial period of subscription," and section 3.7 says that when you buy through the Apple App Store or Google Play "the sale is final, and we will not provide a refund." You can still ask Apple or Google under their own refund policies, which is the only route the terms leave open. Be careful with chargebacks: the disputes section of EVA's terms says that if you charge back a transaction, EVA "may be required to disclose any and/or all private communications sent/received by You through our Service" to prove the charge was valid.

A flat-price alternative to EVA AI

Gals.ai costs more than EVA's yearly membership, and we would rather say so. Hello is $9 a month billed yearly ($108) or $12 month to month. Sweetheart is $19 billed yearly or $24 monthly, with unlimited texting and her texting you first. Soulmate is $39 or $49 and adds voice calls. What you get for the difference is that nothing is metered: there are no Neurons, no coins and no locked replies on any plan, and every price sits on our public pricing page before you sign up. Our EVA AI alternative page compares the two side by side, and if Replika is the other app on your list, its own price list is decoded on our Replika Pro cost page.

Frequently asked questions

How much does EVA AI cost per month?

The US App Store lists 1 Month Membership items at $11.99, $14.99, $15.99 and $24.99, read on 3 October 2026. The 3 Months Membership at $20.99 works out to $7 a month and the 12 Months Membership at $47.99 to about $4 a month. EVA's terms say prices vary by region and subscription length.

Is EVA AI free?

The app is free to download and has a Basic tier, which EVA's terms describe as limited access that EVA may deny at its discretion. Premium is a paid membership bought inside the app, and Neurons for romantic messages and gifts are a separate purchase on top.

What does EVA AI unlimited Neurons cost?

EVA does not sell unlimited Neurons. The App Store lists two packs, 500 Neurons for $9.99 and 2,000 for $29.99. Each romantic message costs 2 Neurons to read under EVA's terms, so the larger pack reads 1,000 romantic messages, about 3 cents each.

How do I unsubscribe from EVA AI?

Cancel in the store you paid through. On iPhone go to Settings, your name, Subscriptions, EVA AI Soulmate, Cancel Subscription. On Android go to Google Play, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, EVA AI Soulmate, Cancel. Deleting the app or your EVA account does not stop store billing.

Can I get a refund from EVA AI?

Not from EVA in most cases. Its terms say App Store and Google Play purchases are final and that partial periods are not refunded. You can request a refund from Apple or Google under their own policies. EVA's terms warn that a chargeback may lead it to disclose your private messages.
