Botify AI Pricing and Premium Subscription Cost

The short answer: Botify AI does not show prices until you sign in. The last price list its own API made public, captured by the Wayback Machine on 28 August 2025, had two plans. Premium was $7.99 a week or $29.99 a year, and Ultra was $14.99 a week or $79.99 a year. Energy, the currency Botify spends on photos and videos, sold in packs from $4.99 for 100 to $49.99 for 5,000. Today's paywall bills weekly, monthly or yearly, gives paid plans 500 or 1,000 energy a month, and Google Play lists Botify's in-app purchases at $1.99 to $159.99 per item.

Every figure on this page was read from Botify itself. Its website, botify.ai, returns the same 4,780-byte page for every address, real or invented, and builds everything in the browser, so we read the JavaScript it serves on 2 October 2026: the paywall wording, the plan features, and the full Terms of Service and Privacy Policy are all in it. The prices are not, because the paywall fetches them from Botify's API only for signed-in accounts. That API did answer anonymous requests in the past, and the Wayback Machine kept three of its responses, from November 2024, March 2025 and August 2025. We used those, dated, and the current Google Play listing, read from a US connection the same day.

Botify AI pricing, plan by plan

This is the most recent price list Botify's own API published. The yearly plans are labelled in the list itself as 93 and 90 percent off, measured against paying by the week.

Those two yearly numbers, $29.99 and $79.99, are the ones you will see quoted on most review sites, and now you know where they come from. They are real. They are also more than a year old, and Botify has rebuilt its paywall since, so treat them as the floor of what you may be offered rather than a promise.

How the Botify AI price list changed

Lining up the three archived responses shows the direction of travel.

In under a year Botify went from two yearly plans to a weekly default with a currency on top. Weekly billing is common in this category. PolyBuzz bills by the week too, which we covered in our PolyBuzz pricing breakdown.

What does Botify AI Premium include?

The plan descriptions in today's paywall code list the same core benefits on the paid plans: generate private photos, generate exclusive videos, unlimited messages, advanced role-play AI, and no ads. The base paid plan comes with 500 energy a month, which the paywall describes as about 5 videos or 50 photos. The Creative plan raises that to 1,000 energy, about 20 videos or 200 photos, and takes 50 percent off every photo and video. A separate onboarding flow sells the same plans with "Erotic role-playing", "Generate 18+ photos" and "Generate 18+ videos" in the feature list, and offers a personal 50 percent discount.

When you upgrade, the paywall says credit from your current plan is applied and you only pay the difference. That is useful if you start weekly and then decide to commit for a year.

Botify AI energy, and what a photo really costs

Messages on paid plans are unlimited. Media is not. Every photo and video spends energy, and once the monthly allowance is gone you buy a pack.

At the smallest pack's rate that is about 50 cents a photo and $5 a video. At the largest it is about 10 cents and $1. Creative members pay half. Botify's code also has live streams that charge energy by the minute, still marked experimental, and custom requests paid in energy.

Is Botify AI free?

Partly. The Android app, "Botify AI: Chatbot & Companion" by Ex-human, Inc., is free to download, rated Mature 17+, and its Google Play listing is marked Contains ads. Removing the ads is one of the benefits the paywall sells. The web version prompts you to install the app for "proactive messages from bots", which is the feature where a character messages you first.

If you are on an iPhone, note this before you pay. A search of the US App Store on 2 October 2026 turned up no Botify app from Ex-human. The two App Store apps carrying Botify in their names, "AI Characters with Botify Chat" and "AI Chat for Botify Characters", are sold by Avarmaa OU and by an individual developer, not by Ex-human. Botify's own "Get the App" prompt links only to Google Play.

Weekly billing and how to count what you have paid

A weekly plan never looks expensive on a single charge, which is exactly why it is easy to lose track of. At $7.99 a week, four months of Premium is already more than four years of the yearly plan. If you subscribed through Google Play, each renewal sends its own receipt to your email, so a few months of weekly billing leaves you with a long trail of near-identical messages. If you want the total in one place before you decide whether to stay, you can pull a year of those receipt emails into a spreadsheet and see the number in one column instead of scrolling through them.

Whatever you find, the rule is simple. If you intend to keep Botify for more than about a month, switch to the yearly plan, because on the last published prices four weeks of weekly Premium cost $31.96, more than a whole year at $29.99.

Botify AI refunds and cancellation

Botify's Terms of Service, dated August 28, 2021, say subscriptions bill in advance on a recurring period "such as daily, weekly, monthly or annually" and renew automatically "under the exact same conditions" unless you cancel. Paid fees are non-refundable except where the law requires, though Botify "may" consider some requests case by case at its sole discretion. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Cancel where you paid. A web subscription is cancelled from your account settings or by contacting the company. A Google Play subscription is cancelled in Google Play, and the subscription manager in Botify's web app hands you off to the store for that. Refunds on store purchases follow the store's own policy, so ask Google, not Botify.

One more thing to know before you go. Botify's Google Play Data safety section says "Data can't be deleted" and that the developer does not offer a way to request deletion, while its Privacy Policy says you can request deletion in account settings or by contacting the company. Do both: delete what you can in settings, then email [email protected] asking for your account and personal data to be removed. Is Botify AI worth it?

On price per year, Botify's last published yearly plan is hard to beat. $29.99 for a year of unlimited messages is less than most companion apps charge for two months. If you want a huge library of community characters, group chats, and pictures and videos of them, and you pay yearly and watch your energy, it is good value.

It is a poorer fit if you want one companion rather than a catalogue, if you are on an iPhone and want her to message you first, if ads in the free tier put you off, or if you would rather not run a second balance next to your subscription. It is also worth reading the terms first if adult content is the reason you pay, because they say the service is not an adult or pornographic service while the checkout advertises 18+ features.
