How to cancel Dippy on iPhone

If you subscribed inside the Dippy app on an iPhone or iPad, Apple holds the subscription, and the cancel button is in Apple's settings, not in Dippy. Open the Settings app, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions. Find Dippy in the list, tap it, and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple then shows the date the plan ends, and you keep Dippy Super until that date.

If Dippy is not in the list, you are probably signed in with a different Apple Account from the one that paid, or the subscription was bought on Android or the web. Apple lists Dippy under the seller name impel intelligence, Inc, which is also the name on the listing itself, so that is the name to look for on an Apple receipt.

Two things catch people out. Deleting the Dippy app from your phone does not cancel anything, because the subscription lives in your Apple Account, not in the app. And Dippy sells more than one subscription: Dippy Super, and a separate Dippy Super Ads Free plan. If you bought both, both appear in the Subscriptions list and each has to be cancelled on its own.

How to cancel Dippy on Android

On Android the subscription belongs to Google Play. Open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Choose Dippy and tap Cancel subscription, then follow Google's confirmation screens. As on Apple, you keep what you paid for until the end of the current period.

The Google Play listing is called Dippy-AI Characters and Roleplay, also from impel intelligence, Inc, and on 24 October 2026 it showed the app was last updated on 16 October 2026, contains ads and offers in-app purchases. If your Android phone uses more than one Google account, switch accounts in the Play Store before deciding Dippy is not there.

Google also lets you cancel from a computer at play.google.com, under Payments and subscriptions, which is handy if the phone that paid is lost or reset.

Why the Dippy website will not let you cancel right now

Dippy also sold Super on its website, billed through Stripe, and this is where the usual advice breaks. We read the dippy.ai web app code on 24 October 2026. Its plans sheet carries this notice, word for word: Web subscriptions are temporarily unavailable and will be back soon. If you were already subscribed on the web, we may have temporarily stopped charging your card. If your subscription is paused, you can start a new one through our mobile app.

The Settings screen still shows a Subscription section with a Manage Subscription button, captioned Manage your plan and payment details at stripe.com. In the build we read, that button does not open Stripe. It opens Dippy's app download link, the same link the Continue to payment method button on the plans sheet opens, with a prompt to scan a QR code and get the Dippy app. The code still contains a cancel confirmation dialog that would say your subscription ends on a given date, but that button never reaches it.

So if you paid Dippy on the web, there is currently no cancel screen to press. Note the wording of the notice too: we may have temporarily stopped charging your card. May is not a promise, and temporarily means charging could resume when web subscriptions come back.

What to do if you paid Dippy on the website

Start with your card statement. Look for Dippy or impel intelligence charges after the date you last expected one. If there are none, your web subscription is most likely paused, as the notice says, and the practical step is to make sure it stays that way.

If you are still being charged, contact Dippy. The only support channel the web app links to is its Discord server, discord.gg/dippyai, and the site also links Instagram and X accounts. Ask in writing for the web subscription to be cancelled, give the email address on the account, and keep a screenshot of your message and the date.

If that gets no answer before the next charge, your card issuer can stop future payments to a merchant. Many US banks and card apps let you block a recurring merchant or replace the card number in a few taps. A new card number ends any Stripe subscription that was charging the old one, which is a blunt but reliable fix. Asking your bank to dispute an old charge is a separate step and worth taking only after you have tried Dippy first.

Deleting your Dippy account does not cancel a store subscription

Dippy's settings include a delete account control, and the web code calls a delete-user request and then shows the message User is deleted. That removes your account and your chats. It does not reach into Apple or Google, which keep billing a subscription until you cancel it in their own settings.

The safe order is always the same: cancel in the App Store or Google Play first, wait for the confirmation with the end date, and only then delete the account if you want your data gone. If you delete first, you lose the account you might need to prove what you bought, and the store subscription carries on renewing.

What Dippy Super costs and what you lose when you cancel

Apple's US listing showed ten in-app purchases for Dippy on 24 October 2026: Dippy Super at $12.99 a month (listed twice) and $9.99 a month, Dippy Super yearly at $119.99 (listed twice) and $99.00, Dippy Super Ads Free at $4.99 a month (listed twice) or $29.99 a year, and a pack of 100 coins for $3.49. The two monthly and two yearly Super prices are most likely different offers or older price points; Apple shows every price the app can charge, not the one you will see. When we read the same listing on 8 October it also showed a $6.99 monthly Super price. Apple displays only ten purchase lines and a $29.99 Ads Free yearly line is new in today's ten, so the missing $6.99 may simply have been pushed off the list rather than withdrawn.

Over a year, Super billed monthly at $12.99 comes to $155.88, which is $35.89 more than the $119.99 yearly price and $56.88 more than the $99.00 yearly price. The Ads Free plan is the cheap way out of ads, $59.88 a year monthly against $29.99 yearly.

When Super ends you go back to the free version with ads. The web code lists what Super adds, among them better memories, longer responses, a stronger chat model, a rethink option and no ads, and those are the things that stop at the end date. Coins you bought separately are a one-time purchase, not part of the subscription.

Dippy has no readable terms or refund policy right now

We looked for Dippy's refund rules and could not read any. The Terms and Privacy links in the dippy.ai web app point to pages on a Webflow site, dippyapp.webflow.io. On 24 October 2026 both returned 404, and so did the root of that Webflow site and an invented control path, which means the whole site that hosted the documents is down rather than one page being moved. The Privacy Policy link on Dippy's Apple listing, www.dippy.ai/privacy, redirects to the same dead page.

In practice that leaves the store rules. For a subscription bought through Apple, you request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, and Apple decides. For Google Play, Google's own refund rules apply, and you request it from your Play order history. For a web purchase, the bank route above is what you have.
