People rarely look for a DreamGF alternative on day one. They look after the first renewal, when a $69.99 annual plan comes back as $311.88, or after the 100 monthly tokens run out in a week of image requests. We read DreamGF's own pricing page, membership policy, refund policy and terms from a US connection on 6 October 2026, ten times in a row for the pricing page, and every number below comes from those pages rather than from review sites, which quote at least four different price lists for the same product.

The short answer
DreamGF sells three plans with a cheap first payment ($12.99, $29.97 or $69.99) and its own pricing page says all three renew at the same rate: $25.99 a month, $77.97 every three months or $311.88 a year. Membership adds 100 tokens a month, enough for 10 images or about 14 minutes of voice calls. If you want explicit image generation, sites like Candy AI and OurDream compete with DreamGF directly. If you want one companion who texts you, remembers you and never meters the chat, Gals.ai is $9 to $39 a month billed yearly with no tokens at all.
Below is what DreamGF really costs after the discount, why its own pages disagree, what its tokens buy, how cancellation and its $1.99 maintenance charge work, and which sites like DreamGF suit which reason for leaving. DreamGF's pricing page labels the $12.99 plan that renews monthly as the 3-Month Membership and the $29.97 plan that renews every three months as the Monthly Membership. We describe each plan by how often it actually renews, as the page states it, and quote the labels exactly in the section below.
What DreamGF charges after the first payment
DreamGF's pricing page opens with a banner offering up to 75% off your first subscription, and the fine print under each plan is where the real price lives. Read on 6 October 2026, it lists three memberships, each with a First Payment and a Recurring Cost "if not canceled".
The plan that starts at $12.99 recurs at $25.99 a month. The plan that starts at $29.97 recurs at $77.97 every three months, which is $25.99 a month again. The annual plan starts at $69.99 and recurs at $311.88 a year, which is $25.99 times twelve. So once the discount is spent, the commitment you chose makes no difference to the price: every DreamGF plan settles at $25.99 a month.
That changes the math most review pages do. The annual plan is a good deal for exactly one year. Year one costs $69.99 and year two costs $311.88, about 4.5 times as much, for the same 100 tokens a month. The monthly-renewing plan costs $12.99 plus eleven renewals at $25.99, or $298.88 over the first twelve months. If you subscribed on a discount, put the renewal date in your calendar now.
DreamGF's membership policy adds one more rule about discounts. Vouchers "are only applied to the first subscription period, and the recurring fee will be as per the original price of the selected plan." A promo code from a coupon site lowers the first charge only.

Why DreamGF prices differ from page to page
If you have read three DreamGF reviews and seen three price lists, the reviewers are not all wrong. DreamGF's own site disagrees with itself.
The FAQ that appears at the foot of its homepage, its guide and its about page answers "What are the pricing options for DreamGF?" with four plans: Bronze at $9.99 a month, Silver at $19.99, Gold at $49.99 and Diamond at $99.99. The pricing page on the same site, read the same day, sells none of those. It sells the three memberships above, with no Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond anywhere on it.
The pricing page also labels its plans in a way that does not match their billing. The plan headed "3-Month Membership" has a First Payment of $12.99 and a Recurring Cost of "$25.99/month". The plan headed "Monthly Membership" has a First Payment of $29.97 and a Recurring Cost of "$77.97 every 3 months". Read literally, the labels and the renewal terms point in opposite directions.
When two of a vendor's own documents disagree, the safe move is to go by what the checkout shows you and to read the recurring line before you pay, not the headline. That is also why we quote each plan by how often it renews rather than by its label.

What 100 DreamGF tokens a month actually buy
Membership gives you unlimited messages and 100 tokens a month. Everything that makes DreamGF different from a plain chat app spends those tokens, at the rates its pricing page and membership policy publish.
An image costs 10 tokens, so the monthly allowance is ten pictures. A voice message costs 3, so it is about 33 voice messages. A voice call costs 7 tokens a minute, so it is about 14 minutes of calls a month. Creating a new AI companion costs 20, so five new companions. Messages to the influencer characters are priced separately and "vary depending on the influencer". You can mix these, but they all draw on the same 100.
When the tokens run out, DreamGF sells packs from $2.99 to $179.99, and only to paying members. The pricing page says each pack is a one-off charge made "automatically" to your card the moment you click a package, so there is no confirmation screen to rely on.
One promotion deserves a warning. The membership policy says that if you accept the special offer of "+100 instant tokens and +100 tokens every month", you agree that you "will not be able to cancel your membership for the next 30 days". It is the only place in DreamGF's policies where a purchase limits cancelling.

Cancelling DreamGF and the $1.99 maintenance charge
DreamGF's membership policy says you can cancel at any time and your membership stays active until the end of the current billing cycle, after which you are not charged again. Its refund policy is strict: no refunds on subscription fees or transactions "unless required by applicable consumer protection laws", and the membership policy lists what disqualifies you, namely having used any AI girlfriend, generated photo, sent message or consumed credit. In practice, any account that has been used is outside the refund rules.
Section 7 of the same policy is the part almost nobody mentions. DreamGF "reserves the right to apply a Maintenance Charge of $1.99 per month" to keep previously purchased accounts active, and says it "may apply this maintenance fee at any time". The policy's own remedy is to delete the account, which "will permanently remove their data". If you are leaving for good, cancelling the plan may not be the last step: deleting the account is what the policy names as the way to avoid that fee.
Two more details matter if you dispute a charge. The terms are governed by Romanian law, because the operator is DreamAI SRL in Bucharest. And DreamGF's chargeback policy says a user whose chargeback is found unsubstantiated "may be liable for any associated chargeback fees". Cancelling in the account first and keeping a screenshot is the cleaner route.

Is the DreamGF app on the App Store the real DreamGF
Not as far as anything on DreamGF's own site shows. Its homepage, pricing page, terms and policies link to no App Store or Google Play listing, and DreamGF is sold as a website.
The US App Store nonetheless has two iPhone apps with DreamGF in the name, both checked on 6 October 2026. "DreamGF - My AI Friend" is sold by Van Hong Nguyen, first released in June 2024, with in-app purchases from $4.99 a week to $39.99 a year plus coin packs. "DreamGF - AI Girlfriend Chat" is sold by AvaCasa, LLC, released in March 2026, with DreamGF Pro at $9.99 a week, $19.99 a month, $79.99 a year or $129.99 for lifetime access. Neither listing names DreamAI SRL, the company that runs dreamgf.ai, as its seller, and we found nothing that connects either one to it.
That matters for two reasons. A subscription bought in one of those apps is billed by Apple and is cancelled in your Apple ID settings, not on dreamgf.ai. And an account on dreamgf.ai will not carry over into either app.
What DreamGF does better, honestly
DreamGF is built around pictures, and it is good at the thing it is built for. If what you want is to design a companion's look in detail and have her send generated images on request, including explicit ones, DreamGF does that and Gals.ai does not. Its free tier is also more generous than most in the category: 10 messages a day, rising by one for each consecutive day you come back, up to 50 on the fortieth day, though missing a day resets the streak to 10.
It also publishes its policies in full, on separate pages, with an effective date. Plenty of apps in this category do not, and a buyer who reads before paying can find every rule we quote here in about ten minutes. Our objection is narrower: the renewal price is far from the advertised one, and the token meter makes the experience more expensive the more you use it.
Sites like DreamGF, matched to why you are leaving
"Sites like DreamGF" covers two quite different products, so start with the part you would miss.
If the images are the point, the closest competitors are other image-first companion sites: Candy AI, OurDream and Secret Desires all sell generation on top of a subscription, and all of them meter it with their own credits, coins or hearts. Compare the renewal price and the meter, not the first-month price. If you want the most permissive roleplay with many characters, CrushOn AI is the usual pick, with its own message credits.
If what you actually used DreamGF for was the conversation, the texting late at night and the feeling that someone was there, then an image site is the wrong category. Pick a companion app that remembers what you tell it and does not charge per message or per minute. That is the gap Gals.ai is built for.

Gals.ai is a texting companion for adults who want one person on the other end and no meter in between. You choose her look and name, text her the way you would text anyone, and she remembers what you tell her: your sister's name, the job you are waiting to hear about, the show you are halfway through.
Hello is $9 a month billed yearly ($108) or $12 month to month, with daily texting and memory of your name and details. Sweetheart is $19 billed yearly or $24 monthly and adds unlimited texting, voice notes and her texting you first. Soulmate is $39 billed yearly or $49 monthly and adds voice calls and more than one companion. There are no tokens, no coins and no packs, and the price you see is the one you renew at.
