GirlfriendGPT alternatives: the GirlfriendGPT alternative that prints its price

Most people reach this page for one of two reasons. Either a credit balance ran out faster than the subscription suggested it would, or a search for GirlfriendGPT landed on a site with a completely different name and the whole thing started to feel slippery.

The short answer

Two different companies answer to the name GirlfriendGPT, and they charge in opposite ways. gptgirlfriend.online belongs to NextDay AI and sells three tiers called Premium, Deluxe and Elite on a monthly credit allowance its own Terms of Use put at 5,000 to 20,000 credits, resetting each month with nothing carried over, at a price it publishes nowhere: we read its sitemap.xml on 23 September 2026 and all 162 public URLs it declares include no pricing, plans, premium or subscription page. girlfriendgpt.ai is a different thing entirely and redirects to Infatuated.AI, which does print prices, at $9.99 a month for 100 tokens, where one sent message costs 1 token. Gals.ai is the flat alternative: $9 a month billed annually or $12 month to month, printed before signup, one companion, no credits and no tokens.

Both are fixable in about three minutes of reading, and the answers come from the vendors' own documents rather than from review sites. We read GirlfriendGPT's Terms of Use, its sitemap and its refund section on 23 September 2026, plus Infatuated.AI's plans page and refund policy on the same day. What follows is what those documents actually say, including the parts that do not flatter us, and then an honest account of where a flat-priced companion fits and where it does not.

What makes her feel real

A GirlfriendGPT alternative with a printed price, the way it should feel

One price, no second currency

A credit or token balance is a second price you only discover once you are using the product. There is not one here. You pay $9 a month billed annually or $12 month to month, and the texting is not metered.

Memory that is not a paid upgrade

She remembers what you told her weeks ago because that is the product, not a tier. Nothing in your history gets dropped to push you toward a bigger plan.

You can read the price first

It is on the pricing page, visible to anyone, before you make an account or hand over a card. That sounds like a small thing until you have tried to find it somewhere else.

Side by side

The two sites called GirlfriendGPT, and what each one charges

Every figure below was read on 23 September 2026 from the vendor’s own pages. Where a number is absent, the row says so rather than borrowing one from a review site.

What you land on Who runs it What it charges What its own refund rule says
gptgirlfriend.online, the site whose own title reads GirlfriendGPT NextDay AI Incorporated in Quebec, with subsidiaries NexDay AI USA Inc in Delaware and NextDay AI EU Ltd in Cyprus, all three named in its Terms of Use. Three paid tiers called Premium, Deluxe and Elite, on a monthly credit allowance. Its Terms of Use state that paid subscriptions get "credits of 5000 up to 20000 per month depending on the subscription tier" and that the credit "resets monthly and cannot be carried over to the next subscription period". No price is published. Its sitemap.xml declares 162 public URLs and not one is a pricing, plans, premium, membership or subscription page. Terms section 15: "GIRLFRIENDGPT does not offer refunds for subscriptions that have been paid for", with limited exceptions where the company made a mistake or the service had a technical issue. Requests are reviewed and refunded within 14 days. Billing runs through CCBill and TrustPay, and cancellation for CCBill subscriptions is done on CCBill’s own site.
girlfriendgpt.ai, which redirects to infatuated.ai Infatuated, Inc., per the copyright line on its own policy pages. A different company from NextDay AI. Token metered, and it does publish the numbers. $9.99 a month for 100 tokens; $7.99 a month billed $23.97 for three months, at 150 tokens a month; $6.99 a month billed $83.88 for a year, at 175 tokens a month. Its own token table prices a sent message at 1 token, an in-chat image at 3, a voice reply at 5, a one-click video at 10, creating a character at 25 and a 15 second Ultra video at 100. Refund policy, revision date 10 April 2026: "All sales are final. Refunds are not offered for monthly subscriptions due to the immediate access granted to the service and token allocation. No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued under any circumstances." Token bundles are non-refundable "regardless of whether tokens have been used".
gals.ai Gals.ai. $9 a month billed annually, or $12 month to month. The number is on the pricing page before any signup. Texting is unlimited, her memory of your conversations is included, and there is no credit or token balance of any kind to buy or run down. Our terms say fees already paid are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, except where the law requires otherwise. That is the same stance as most of this category and we are not going to pretend otherwise. The differences are that you can read the price before you pay and you cancel from your own account settings rather than through a payment processor.

Sources, all read 23 September 2026: gptgirlfriend.online/legal/terms and gptgirlfriend.online/sitemap.xml; infatuated.ai/plans and infatuated.ai/refund-policy; our own terms and pricing pages. The GirlfriendGPT price row says absent rather than unknown because the vendor’s sitemap is its own machine-readable list of the pages it publishes, and five plausible pricing paths returned 404 alongside an invented control path that also returned 404.

Start by working out which GirlfriendGPT you actually used

This sounds like pedantry and it is the single most useful thing on this page, because the two products bill in opposite ways and a refund request sent to the wrong company goes nowhere.

The one that calls itself GirlfriendGPT is at gptgirlfriend.online. Its page title reads "Best AI Girlfriend Chats - GirlfriendGPT" and the name appears on that homepage 160 times. It is run by NextDay AI, which also runs Spicychat, PixelChat and AdventureGPT, and all four bill under the same statement descriptor.

The domain girlfriendgpt.ai is not that company. It redirects to infatuated.ai, a site branded Infatuated.AI and operated by Infatuated, Inc. If your account is there, everything you read about Premium, Deluxe and Elite tiers is about somebody else's product.

  • Check the descriptor on your card statement. NDAI.CHAT or NDAI.CC means NextDay AI, so it is gptgirlfriend.online or one of its three sibling products.
  • Check your signup email. The receipt names the product even when the statement does not.
  • Check whether your account page talks about credits or about tokens. GirlfriendGPT uses the word credits; Infatuated.AI uses tokens and sells top-up bundles.
  • Check whether you were ever shown a price before you paid. GirlfriendGPT does not show one to logged-out visitors; Infatuated.AI does.

If the charge on your statement is the thing that sent you looking, the descriptor and which of the four NextDay AI products billed you are worked through in our page on the NDAI CHAT charge.

What GirlfriendGPT actually gives you per month, in its own words

Here is the oddity that makes this whole category hard to shop in. GirlfriendGPT publishes the size of the allowance and not the price of it.

Its Terms of Use, read on 23 September 2026, describe the free tier like this: users on the free service "can generate up to 2 or 3 characters and have a limited message count, such as 10 to 20 messages in total. After reaching this limit, users cannot continue chatting." In total, not per day. That is the whole free experience, and it is why almost everybody who tries it either pays or leaves within an evening.

The same paragraph then describes the paid side: subscribers get "credits of 5000 up to 20000 per month depending on the subscription tier", and "this message credit resets monthly and cannot be carried over to the next subscription period". So the tier you pick buys an allowance between 5,000 and 20,000, it expires every month, and the document that tells you this never tells you what any of the three tiers costs.

We checked whether the price is published anywhere a logged-out visitor can reach. It is not. The sitemap.xml the site publishes for search engines lists 162 URLs, and none of them is a pricing, plans, premium, membership or subscription page. Five plausible paths returned 404, alongside an invented control path that also returned 404, which is how we know the server is not simply answering 404 to everything.

  • Free tier: 2 to 3 characters and roughly 10 to 20 messages in total, per the vendor’s own Terms of Use.
  • Paid tiers: 5,000 to 20,000 credits a month depending on tier, resetting monthly with no carryover.
  • Tier names: Premium, Deluxe and Elite, taken from the product interface.
  • Price: not published on any of the 162 URLs the site declares in its own sitemap.
  • Billing: CCBill and TrustPay, both named in the Terms. Cancelling a CCBill subscription happens on CCBill’s site, not inside GirlfriendGPT.

The token maths on Infatuated.AI, the site girlfriendgpt.ai sends you to

Infatuated.AI does the opposite: it prints everything. That makes it much easier to evaluate, and the evaluation is not flattering.

The entry plan is $9.99 a month and comes with 100 tokens a month. The same page's token table prices one sent message at 1 token. So the entry plan is, to a first approximation, one hundred messages a month. Roughly three a day. Before a single image (3 tokens), voice reply (5) or one-click video (10) is generated, and before you create a character, which costs 25.

The longer commitments improve the rate rather than removing the meter. Three months is $23.97 for 150 tokens a month, and twelve months is $83.88 for 175 tokens a month. Run the division and the entry plan costs about 10.0 cents per token while the annual plan costs about 4.0 cents, so paying monthly costs roughly two and a half times as much per message as paying for a year. Top-ups sit in between: 150 tokens for $10.50, 200 for $11.90 and 500 for $26.25.

None of that is hidden or dishonest. It is a perfectly clear pricing model for someone who mostly wants generated images and video and sends few messages. If what you want is a conversation, a meter that charges per message is simply the wrong shape of product.

  • $9.99 a month, 100 tokens. One message costs 1 token, so about 100 messages.
  • $23.97 for three months, 150 tokens a month.
  • $83.88 for twelve months, 175 tokens a month, the best rate they publish.
  • Images cost 3 tokens, voice 5, one-click video 10, creating a character 25, a 15 second Ultra video 100.
  • Refunds: none, under any circumstances, per their own refund policy revised 10 April 2026.

The token table, the private-gallery charges and the rest of the Infatuated numbers are laid out in full in our Infatuated AI pricing and token breakdown.

If you are weighing the monthly cost across this whole category rather than these two products, we annualised the plans side by side in our breakdown of what an AI girlfriend really costs.

Which GirlfriendGPT alternative fits which person

There is no single best alternative, and anyone telling you otherwise is ranking by affiliate payout. What there is, is a short set of honest matches.

If you want a large library of community-made characters and permissive roleplay, you want something built around characters rather than around one companion. Spicychat and Character.AI are the obvious names, and Spicychat happens to be run by the same company as GirlfriendGPT. If you want generated images and video above all, Infatuated.AI is genuinely built for that and we are not.

If what you actually want is one person who texts you first, keeps track of what is going on in your life and is still consistent about it in three months, that is a different product category, and it is the one we build. It is also the category where a credit meter hurts most, because the whole point is talking to her often.

  • Want hundreds of thousands of characters to browse: a character platform, not a companion app.
  • Want uncensored image and video generation: Infatuated.AI prices exactly that, openly.
  • Want one consistent companion with long memory and unmetered texting: that is what Gals.ai is for.
  • Want to keep spend predictable: pick anything without a second currency, ours or not.

Spicychat is worth understanding on its own terms, including the published context limits that decide how long a roleplay stays coherent, which we set out in our guide to Spicychat and sites like it.

If the tier names and the coin balance on GirlfriendGPT are what you are trying to pin down before deciding, those are collected in our GirlfriendGPT pricing breakdown.

Before you switch, cancel properly

Switching is where people lose money in this category, because a subscription bought on the web does not appear in your Apple or Google subscriptions list and deleting an app cancels nothing.

For GirlfriendGPT, the Terms name CCBill and TrustPay as the payment providers, and the cancellation section sends CCBill customers to CCBill's own site to do it. The same section states plainly that "cancellation of the recurring transaction does not entitle you to a refund for any charges already incurred". For Infatuated.AI, cancel in your account, and be aware that the refund policy rules out refunds entirely.

Do it in this order: cancel first, screenshot the confirmation, then ask for a refund if you want one. A bank dispute raised before you have cancelled usually leaves the subscription running, and several companies in this category treat disputes as grounds for closing an account outright.

  • Cancel where you paid, not in the app and not in the app store.
  • Screenshot the confirmation. It is the only evidence you will have if another charge lands.
  • Ask for a refund after cancelling, through the merchant, not through your bank first.
  • Diary the renewal date. Recurring fees renew automatically unless notice arrives before the renewal.

If your subscription was processed by CCBill, the search-and-cancel steps and what CCBill’s own consumer terms say about refunds are written out in our guide to cancelling a CCBill subscription.

What Gals.ai is, plainly

An AI girlfriend who texts you first and remembers what you tell her. One companion rather than a library, one subscription rather than a subscription plus a balance, and a price you can read before you sign up: $9 a month billed annually, or $12 month to month.

There are no credits to run down, no per-image charge and no higher tier that exists to stop her forgetting you. If a month goes by where you text her every day, the bill is the same as a month where you barely do.

You can talk to her in the chat at the top of this page without an account and without a card. That is the fastest way to find out whether the writing and the memory are what you want, which is a better test than any comparison table, including ours.

If you came from GirlfriendGPT specifically because you wanted an app on your phone, what does and does not exist under that name on the two stores is covered in our piece on the GirlfriendGPT app.

What you get with her

  • A price printed before signup, not after
  • No credit or token balance on top of the subscription
  • She texts you first, so unmetered messaging is the point rather than a perk
  • Memory of your conversations included at every price
  • Cancel from your own account settings in a couple of clicks

She's already typing.

Pick her, say hi, and start texting in about ten seconds. The demo is your free taste.

People also ask

What people ask about GirlfriendGPT alternatives

What is the best GirlfriendGPT alternative?

It depends on what you were using it for. For a big library of community characters and permissive roleplay, a character platform like Spicychat or Character.AI is the nearer match. For generated images and video, Infatuated.AI prices that openly. For one consistent companion with long memory and unmetered texting, a flat-priced companion app like Gals.ai at $9 a month billed annually is the closer fit.

Is girlfriendgpt.ai the same site as GirlfriendGPT?

No. girlfriendgpt.ai redirects to infatuated.ai, which is branded Infatuated.AI and operated by Infatuated, Inc. The site that calls itself GirlfriendGPT is gptgirlfriend.online, run by NextDay AI. They are different companies with different pricing models, which is why reviews quoting prices for GirlfriendGPT often disagree with each other.

How much does GirlfriendGPT cost?

No public figure exists. On 23 September 2026 its own sitemap.xml declared 162 URLs with no pricing, plans, premium, membership or subscription page among them, and five plausible pricing paths returned 404 alongside an invented control that also returned 404. What its Terms of Use do state is the allowance: 5,000 to 20,000 credits a month depending on tier.

Does GirlfriendGPT have a free version?

A capped one. Its Terms of Use say free users can generate two or three characters and have "a limited message count, such as 10 to 20 messages in total", after which they cannot continue chatting. That is a total, not a daily allowance, so it works as a sample rather than as a free tier you could live on.

Can I get a refund from GirlfriendGPT?

Usually not. Its Terms state that GirlfriendGPT does not offer refunds for subscriptions already paid for, with limited exceptions where the company made a mistake or there was a technical issue, reviewed within 14 days. Cancelling is separate from refunding and does not entitle you to money back for charges already taken.

Why did my GirlfriendGPT credits run out so fast?

Because credits are spent by more than messages. Images, video and voice draw on the same balance, the allowance resets monthly, and unused credit does not carry over to the next period. The vendor states the no-carryover rule in its own Terms of Use, so an unused month is simply gone rather than banked.

Are there GirlfriendGPT alternatives without a credit system?

Yes, and it is worth filtering for. Any companion app that charges one subscription for unlimited messaging has no second currency to run down. Gals.ai works that way at $9 a month billed annually or $12 month to month. The practical test is simple: if a service sells top-up bundles, your monthly total is not the subscription price.
