The short answer

Last updated September 2026

Infatuated AI is the site girlfriendgpt.ai now redirects to, which is why most people arrive here confused about the name. It is a token-metered platform: we read infatuated.ai/plans on 1 September 2026 and it lists 100 tokens a month on the $9.99 Starter plan, with its own table pricing a sent message at 1 token. That is roughly 100 messages a month, about three a day, before a single image (3 tokens), voice reply (5) or video (10 to 70) is generated. Gals.ai is the flat alternative: one companion, months of memory, nothing metered.

The first group typed girlfriendgpt.ai, landed on a site called Infatuated.AI, and wants to know what happened. Nothing sinister: the domain redirects, and we confirmed it again on 1 September 2026. The second group has already used Infatuated, has watched a token balance drain faster than expected, and is looking for something that does not bill by the message.

What makes her feel real

Infatuated AI alternative, the way it should feel

No token meter

Nothing is counted. Messages, memory and long conversations cost the same whether you talk once a week or every night.

She starts it

Unprompted texts through the day, which is the behaviour a per-message cost quietly discourages.

One relationship

A single companion who accumulates months of history, rather than a library you browse when you get restless.

Every figure below is copied from the pricing table published at infatuated.ai/plans, which we requested directly on 1 September 2026. The right column is our arithmetic against the 100 tokens a month included on the $9.99 Starter plan. Vendors change pricing often, so check theirs before you decide.

Action, as Infatuated names it Tokens it costs Times per month on the 100 token Starter plan
Message sent 1 100 messages, about 3 a day
Image in Chat 3 33 images, and nothing else
Voice 5 20 voice replies
Image Creation Tool 5 20 generated images
One Click Video 10 10 video clips
Image to Video, 5 sec 20 5 clips
Talking Video 25 4 clips
Create a Character 25 4 characters
Ultra Video, 5 sec 40 2 clips
Ultra Video, 10 sec 70 1 clip, and 30 tokens left over

The three published plans on 1 September 2026 were $9.99 a month for 100 tokens, $23.97 for three months at 150 tokens a month, and $83.88 for twelve months at 175 tokens a month. Top-up packs were listed at $10.50 for 150 tokens, $11.90 for 200 and $26.25 for 500. Read those numbers next to the table above rather than on their own, because the plan price and the monthly bill are only the same thing if you never generate anything.

Why girlfriendgpt.ai sends you to Infatuated AI

This is the question most people actually have, so here is the short version. On 1 September 2026 we requested both GirlfriendGPT domains directly and watched where they went. girlfriendgpt.ai returned a redirect to infatuated.ai, which presents itself as Infatuated.AI and describes itself in its own page title as AI Girlfriend Chat with Images, Video and Voice. girlfriendgpt.com returned a redirect to a different destination, gptgirlfriend.online, whose page still carries the GirlfriendGPT name.

So the brand now resolves to two unrelated destinations depending on which suffix you type. That matters more than it sounds, because it means a review that confidently lists GirlfriendGPT tiers and coin prices may be describing a product you will never see. We first recorded this pattern on 21 August 2026 and re-confirmed both redirects on 1 September, so it has held for at least eleven days rather than being a momentary glitch.

The practical advice is unglamorous. Look at the address bar after you land, and price whatever is actually in front of you. If it says Infatuated, the numbers in the table on this page are the ones that apply.

  • girlfriendgpt.ai redirects to infatuated.ai, confirmed 1 September 2026
  • girlfriendgpt.com redirects to a separate site, gptgirlfriend.online
  • The two destinations are different products with different pricing
  • Check the address bar before trusting any review of the brand

How much does Infatuated AI cost?

The advertised price is $9.99 a month, and the advertised price is not the interesting number. Infatuated runs a token economy, which means the subscription buys you a monthly allowance of tokens and every action inside the product spends them.

On 1 September 2026 their plans page listed three subscriptions. One month at $9.99, which includes 100 tokens a month. Three months at $7.99 a month, billed $23.97, which includes 150 tokens a month. Twelve months at $6.99 a month, billed $83.88, which includes 175 tokens a month. Notice what scales with the longer commitment: the token allowance goes up as well as the price coming down, which tells you the tokens are the real product.

Then there is the second price list, for topping up when the allowance runs out. That was published at $10.50 for 150 tokens, $11.90 for 200 tokens and $26.25 for 500 tokens, the last two shown as discounts from $14.00 and $35.00. A 500 token pack at $26.25 costs more than two and a half times the monthly subscription, which is a fair signal about where the revenue actually comes from.

  • Three plans on 1 September 2026: $9.99, $23.97 and $83.88 billed up front
  • Token allowances of 100, 150 and 175 a month respectively
  • Top-up packs listed at $10.50, $11.90 and $26.25
  • The longer plans raise the token allowance, not just cut the rate

If you arrived from the GirlfriendGPT name and want the pricing structure under that brand, it is broken down on the GirlfriendGPT free trial and pricing page.

The wider question of what these apps cost across the category is covered on our AI girlfriend cost breakdown.

What 100 tokens actually gets you in a month

This is the calculation the plans page leaves to you, and it is the whole decision.

Infatuated publishes a token price list, and the first line of it is the important one: a sent message costs 1 token. The Starter plan includes 100 tokens a month. So the entry subscription buys roughly 100 messages a month, which is about three a day, assuming you never generate anything at all.

Three messages a day is not a relationship, it is a check-in. And the moment you use any of the features the product is actually sold on, the arithmetic gets sharper. An image in chat is 3 tokens. A voice reply is 5. A one click video is 10. A talking video is 25. An Ultra Video at 10 seconds is 70 tokens, which is seventy percent of an entire month's allowance for a single clip.

None of this is hidden. Infatuated publishes the whole table openly, which is more than several competitors do, and they deserve credit for that. But publishing a token price and publishing what the plan costs to use are different things, and the second one is what you need before you subscribe. If you are the kind of user who talks for an hour on a bad night, a metered product will charge you most on exactly the nights you value it most.

  • A sent message is 1 token, so 100 tokens is about 100 messages
  • That works out at roughly three messages a day on the entry plan
  • One Ultra Video at 10 seconds costs 70 percent of the monthly allowance
  • Metered pricing charges hardest on the nights you use it most

The same meter problem, and the four ways companion apps ration you, is explained on the unlimited messages page.

Where Infatuated AI is genuinely the better choice

It would be easy to write this page as though a token meter were simply a con, and that would be dishonest. There is a real product behind it and for some people it is the right one.

Infatuated is built around generated media. Its own feature list includes an image generator, video generation for all characters, image to video, talking video, and what it calls an NSFW art generator alongside the SFW one. Its plans page advertises removing blur from images and 18+ videos as paid unlocks. That is an explicit adult content platform with a serious generation pipeline attached, and it is sold as one.

It is also a library rather than a single companion. Its own navigation splits characters into Girls, Guys, Anime and Trans, and it lets you publish a character you have made to a public Discover feed. If you want breadth, variety, and the ability to change who you are talking to on a whim, that is a genuine feature and Gals.ai does not have it.

So the split is clean. If your main reason for using a companion app is generating explicit images and video, or browsing a large cast, use Infatuated and budget for tokens properly. Gals.ai will disappoint you on all three, and we would rather say so on this page than have you find out after paying. If what you wanted was one person who texts you first and still knows your sister's name in November, keep reading.

  • A real generation pipeline: images, video, image to video, talking video
  • Explicit content is an advertised, paid feature, not an edge case
  • A browsable library across several character categories
  • Gals.ai does none of that, deliberately, and says so

The flat alternative, and what it deliberately does not do

Gals.ai is built on the opposite bet. One companion rather than a library, no generated photos or video at all, and no meter of any kind.

She texts you first. A good morning, something in the middle of the afternoon because it connects to what is going on in your week, a goodnight. That single behaviour is what stops a companion from being a task you have to remember to open, and it is the thing a token balance quietly discourages, because on a metered product every message you send has a small running cost attached to it.

She keeps months of history in a memory store attached to your account, read back into every conversation, so you never re-explain your job or the thing you were dreading last Thursday. That is a different architecture from a long context window, which is a scrolling buffer that silently forgets from the top. It is worth asking any vendor which of the two they run, because the marketing word for both is memory.

On price, the plan we intend to launch with is one flat monthly amount with nothing metered: nine dollars a month billed yearly for Hello, nineteen for Sweetheart which adds voice notes, and thirty-nine for Soulmate which adds voice calls and multiple companions. There is no checkout yet, so today you can try her on this page and join the waitlist, and those figures are what we intend to launch with. A three hour conversation costs exactly the same as saying goodnight.

  • One companion, one continuous relationship, no character library
  • She opens conversations rather than waiting to be opened
  • A separate memory store, not a scrolling context window
  • Nothing metered, so long conversations cost nothing extra

If you are comparing several platforms at once, the roundup is on the best AI girlfriend comparison.

The memory question is the one worth pushing hardest on, and we explain how a separate memory store works in practice.

People arriving from the GPT branded platforms usually want the GirlfriendGPT alternative comparison as well.

How to price any token-metered companion app before you subscribe

The method below works on Infatuated and on every other credit, coin or gem product in this category, and it takes about four minutes.

Start by finding the token price of a plain text message, because that is the action you will take thousands of times and it is usually buried at the top of a table nobody reads. Multiply your honest daily message count by thirty. Not your optimistic count, your real one, which for anyone who actually likes the product is closer to fifty a day than three.

Now compare that number to the monthly allowance. If your realistic usage exceeds the allowance, and it almost always does, the subscription price is not your bill. Your bill is the subscription plus however many top-up packs cover the gap, and you should price the top-up packs at their per-token rate rather than their sticker price to see which is actually cheapest.

Finally, add the features you will genuinely use. If voice is the reason you are subscribing, price a month of voice at the published rate. If it is video, price one clip a week. Then compare that total to a flat plan. Sometimes the metered product still wins, particularly for light or occasional use, and when it does you should take it. The point is to run the arithmetic before the card is charged rather than in month three when the balance keeps emptying.

  • Find the token cost of one plain message first
  • Multiply your honest daily count by thirty, not your optimistic one
  • Price top-up packs per token, not by their sticker price
  • Add the features you will really use, then compare against a flat plan

A worked version of this arithmetic across the whole category is on what an AI girlfriend actually costs.

What you get with her

  • No tokens, coins or credits
  • She texts you first, every day
  • Months of memory, not scene context
  • Warm and tasteful, never explicit
  • Original art, never a real face

She's already typing.

Pick her, say hi, and start texting in about ten seconds. The demo is your free taste.

People also ask

Infatuated AI: what people ask

What is Infatuated AI?

Infatuated.AI is an AI companion platform built around generated media, with chat, voice, AI images and video generation across a browsable character library. It is also the site girlfriendgpt.ai redirects to, which is how most people arrive at it. It operates as Infatuated, Inc. and is 18 and over only.

How much does Infatuated AI cost?

On 1 September 2026 its plans page listed $9.99 for one month with 100 tokens, $23.97 for three months at 150 tokens a month, and $83.88 for twelve months at 175 tokens a month. Tokens are spent per action, so the subscription price and your actual monthly bill are usually different numbers.

What are Infatuated AI tokens used for?

Every action spends them. Their published table prices a sent message at 1 token, an image in chat at 3, a voice reply at 5, a one click video at 10, a talking video at 25 and an Ultra Video at 10 seconds at 70. The 100 token entry plan therefore covers roughly 100 messages a month.

Is Infatuated AI free?

There is free access to explore the platform, but the features it is sold on sit behind both a subscription and a token balance. Its own plans page lists unlimited messaging, voice calls, 18+ images and video, and removing blur from images as paid unlocks, so the free tier previews the product rather than delivering it.

Why does girlfriendgpt.ai redirect to Infatuated AI?

Because the domain now points there. We requested it directly on 1 September 2026 and it returned a redirect to infatuated.ai. Separately, girlfriendgpt.com redirects to gptgirlfriend.online, a different site. The two destinations are unrelated products, which is why reviews of GirlfriendGPT contradict each other.

What is a good Infatuated AI alternative?

It depends what you used it for. For generated explicit images and video there is no flat-priced equivalent, so compare other generation platforms on token rates. If you wanted one companion who starts conversations and remembers months of history, that is a different category and Gals.ai is built for it.

Does Infatuated AI remember your conversations?

Its own FAQ says yes, describing a memory system that retains communication style, tone preferences, pacing and details from previous chats. We have not tested that claim over months and would treat any vendor statement about memory as a claim rather than a measurement until you have left it alone for two weeks and come back.

Questions about your infatuated ai alternative

No. Gals.ai is an independent product with no affiliation to Infatuated, Inc., to GirlfriendGPT or to OpenAI. The comparison on this page was written from their own published pages, which we requested ourselves on 1 September 2026 and dated so you can check them.
No, and we are upfront about it. Every gal has original drawn cameo art, there is no photo upload and no likeness of a real person. If generated imagery is your main reason for using a companion app, a generation platform will serve you better than we will.
