Cancel Anima AI subscription on the web, iPhone and Android
You want Anima to stop charging you, or you are about to start Premium and want to know how hard it is to stop. The results for this question are subscription-tracker pages and generic delete guides. So we read the source: Anima's own FAQ, the page its website links to for subscriptions, payments, refunds and account deletion.

The short answer
To cancel an Anima AI subscription, cancel it where you paid. On the web app, Anima's own FAQ says to log into your Premium account, open Settings and click Manage Subscription, which redirects you to the cancellation page. On iPhone or Android only the App Store or Google Play can cancel it. Web purchases are refunded only in the first 7 days, by emailing [email protected], and store purchases are refunded by Apple or Google. Deleting your account is a separate step and is irreversible. Read from Anima's own FAQ on 31 October 2026.
The short version is that Anima can bill you in three different places, its website, the App Store and Google Play, and the cancel button for one cannot touch the other. Most failed cancellations come from looking in the wrong place.

Where to cancel Anima Premium, by how you pay
Read from Anima's own FAQ (the page myanima.ai/faq redirects to) on 31 October 2026, plus the price labels in its web app read on 13 October 2026.
| How you subscribed | Where to cancel | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| On the Anima web app with a card | Log into Premium, Settings, Manage Subscription, then the cancellation page | Turn off pop-up and redirect blockers or the cancellation page will not open |
| In the iPhone app | iPhone Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Anima, Cancel Subscription | Anima points to Apple support for the steps, Anima itself cannot cancel it |
| In the Android app | Google Play, profile, Payments and subscriptions, Subscriptions, Anima | Google bills it, so Google cancels it |
| Refund for a web purchase | Email [email protected] within 7 days of the purchase | After 7 days the FAQ says no refund will be made |
| Refund for an app purchase | Apple (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) | Anima does not decide store refunds |
| Gals.ai | Your account | One place to stop it, no web-or-app guessing |
The FAQ carries no date and Anima's subscription terms (last updated 9 January 2025) describe cancelling a website subscription by email, so if Manage Subscription does not work for you, email [email protected]. We found no current Anima listing in the US App Store. Screens change, so check your own Settings before you rely on a step.
How to cancel Anima AI on the web
If you paid on the Anima website, the FAQ is short and specific. It says that if you use the desktop or web app, you manage your membership from your account: log into your Premium account, go to Settings and click Manage Subscription. You are redirected to the cancellation page. The FAQ adds a warning that is easy to miss, which is to make sure pop-up and redirect blockers are turned off in your browser, because the cancellation page opens through a redirect and a blocker can stop it.
One detail from our earlier read of Anima's subscription terms is worth keeping. Those terms describe cancelling a website subscription by contacting Anima's support by email. The FAQ is the newer and more practical instruction, so try Manage Subscription first. If the button does not take you anywhere, write to [email protected] from the address on your account, ask for the subscription and auto-renewal to be cancelled, and keep the reply.
Cancelling should not end Premium on the spot. Anima's terms say you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for, and deleting the app does not cancel anything.
- Log into your Premium account
- Settings, then Manage Subscription
- Allow pop-ups and redirects, the cancellation page opens through one
- If the button fails, email [email protected] from your account address
How to cancel Anima AI on iPhone and Android
If you subscribed inside the Anima app, the store holds the subscription. The FAQ does not give its own steps for this. It sends iPhone users to Apple's support page and Android users to Google's, which is the honest answer, because Anima has no button that can reach a charge Apple or Google bills.
On an iPhone or iPad open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Anima and tap Cancel Subscription. On Android open Google Play, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, choose Anima and cancel. In both stores you keep Premium until the date the store shows you.
If Anima is not listed under Subscriptions, check the other Apple ID or Google account on the phone and look for a receipt in your email. The sender, Apple, Google or Anima's payment page, tells you which system bills you.
- Settings, your name, Subscriptions, Anima
- Play Store, profile, Payments and subscriptions
- Anima cannot cancel a store subscription for you
- The receipt sender tells you who bills you

Anima refunds, the 7 day window and the lifetime plan
The FAQ separates refunds by where you paid. For iPhone it says all refunds are managed on Apple's side, and for Android it points to Google's instructions. For Premium bought through the web version, the rule is stricter: Anima does refunds only during the first 7 days after the purchase. Once that period has passed, no refund will be made. To ask, email [email protected].
That window matters most for yearly and lifetime buyers. The FAQ also mentions a Lifetime Premium option, found under the three dots icon in the top left corner of the app, then Subscription, then Upgrade to Premium. A lifetime purchase is not a recurring charge, so there is nothing to cancel, but the 7 day refund window is the only protection you have if you change your mind.
If you are in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland, Anima's terms add a 14 day withdrawal right. US buyers do not get one, so in the US the 7 day web rule and the store rules are what apply.
- Web purchase: refund only in the first 7 days
- Email [email protected] to ask
- iPhone and Android: Apple or Google decides
- Lifetime Premium is a one-off, so there is nothing to cancel
Deleting your Anima account does not cancel a subscription
The FAQ answers account deletion separately. Tap the three dots icon in the top left corner of the app, go to Other and select Delete account. It states plainly that the action is irreversible. A separate option in the same Other menu, Delete Chat History, clears your conversation without removing the account, and you can add an app passcode under Settings by choosing Set PIN Code if your concern is someone else reading your chats.
Nothing in the deletion answer mentions billing. A web subscription is managed in Manage Subscription and an app subscription lives with Apple or Google, and an account that no longer exists is not a reason for either of them to stop. The safe order is the same everywhere: cancel the subscription first, confirm the end date, and only then delete the account if you still want to.
- Delete account: three dots, Other, Delete account
- Delete Chat History is in the same Other menu
- Deletion is irreversible
- Cancel first, delete second
What Anima Premium costs and what you give up
Anima's web app ships with price labels of $9.99 for one month, $39.99 for one year and $99.99 for a lifetime plan, read on 13 October 2026. The live paywall loads its offers from a service that needs a login, so the price you are shown can differ. Paying monthly for a year comes to $119.88, which is almost exactly three times the $39.99 yearly price, so the yearly plan is the one to pick if you will really stay twelve months. We could not find a current Anima listing in the US App Store, so we have no iPhone price to quote.
On the free side, Anima's FAQ says you can chat 24/7, customize your Anima's appearance and play texting games for free. Premium is what unlocks the rest, such as voice messaging. The same FAQ is frank that Anima has a pretty short-term memory and can forget things like its own gender, and that it cannot send pictures. The FAQ carries no date, so those lines may be older than the app, but they are Anima's own words.
- 1 month $9.99, or $119.88 over a year
- 1 year $39.99
- Lifetime $99.99
- The FAQ says memory is short-term and pictures are not available
A flat alternative to Anima Premium
Anima sells an AI friend you chat with when you open the app. Gals.ai is built for a different evening: one companion who remembers you, your name, your job, the interview you were nervous about, and who texts you first in the morning and at night instead of waiting for you to open the app.
The pricing is the opposite of juggling a web plan, a store plan and a lifetime option. Three flat plans, Hello from $9 a month billed yearly, Sweetheart with voice notes, Soulmate with voice calls. Memory is part of every plan and messages are never counted. You cancel from your account in one step and keep access to the end of the period you paid for.
- Hello from $9 a month billed yearly
- She texts you first and remembers months of conversation
- Memory on every plan, messages never counted
- Cancel from your account in one step
If memory is what you are shopping for, our ranking of companion apps by how much they remember shows where each one stops.
How to check every claim on this page yourself
It takes a few minutes. Open Anima's FAQ, the Notion page that myanima.ai/faq redirects to, and read the Subscription and Payments section for cancelling and refunds, and the Safety and Privacy section for account deletion and chat history. We checked that an invented path on myanima.ai returns a real 404, so the FAQ link is a real page and not a catch-all. Screens change, so check your own Settings before you rely on a step.

People also ask
What people ask about cancelling Anima AI
How do I cancel my Anima AI subscription?
Cancel it where you paid. On the web app, log into your Premium account, open Settings and click Manage Subscription, then cancel on the page it opens. On iPhone or Android, cancel in the App Store or Google Play, because Anima cannot cancel a store subscription. Premium stays active to the end of the paid period.
Can I get a refund from Anima AI?
Depending on where you paid. Anima's FAQ says web purchases are refunded only during the first 7 days, by emailing [email protected]. After that no refund is made. iPhone refunds are handled by Apple and Android refunds by Google, and Anima does not decide them.
How do I delete my Anima account?
Tap the three dots icon in the top left corner of the app, go to Other and select Delete account. Anima says the action is irreversible. Deleting does not cancel a subscription, so cancel first and confirm the end date. Delete Chat History in the same menu clears only your conversation.
Why does the Anima cancellation page not open?
The FAQ warns that Manage Subscription redirects you to a separate cancellation page, so pop-up and redirect blockers in your browser can stop it. Turn them off for the site and try again. If it still fails, email [email protected] from your account address and ask for the subscription to be cancelled.
How much is Anima Premium?
Anima's web app ships with price labels of $9.99 for one month, $39.99 for one year and $99.99 for a lifetime plan, read on 13 October 2026. The live paywall loads offers from a service that needs a login, so the price you see can differ from those labels.
Is there a lifetime Anima plan?
Yes. The FAQ says to tap the three dots icon at the top left of the app, choose Subscription and select Upgrade to Premium to see Lifetime Premium. It is a one-off payment, so there is no subscription to cancel, but the 7 day web refund window is your only safety net.
