Talkie AI subscription and Talkie Plus price, Standard vs Pro

You use Talkie, or you are about to pay for it, and you want to know three things: what Talkie+ really costs, which way of paying is the expensive one, and how hard it is to stop. Talkie does not publish a price page. On 14 October 2026 both talkie-ai.com/pricing and talkie-ai.com/subscription returned a 404, the same answer an invented address on that site got, so the answers are spread across an App Store listing, a web paywall, a FAQ and a terms document.

The short answer

A Talkie AI subscription is called Talkie+. On Apple's US App Store, where the iPhone app is now listed as Talkie Lab by SUBSUP PTE. LTD., it costs $9.99 for one month, $49.99 for one year, or $24.99 a month for Talkie+ Pro, with Gems sold separately from $1.99 to $19.99. Paying $9.99 monthly for a year costs $119.88, which is $69.89 more than the yearly line. Talkie's terms say you can cancel only in the store where you bought it and that partial months are not refunded. Read first-hand on 14 October 2026.

We read all four. The prices come from the In-App Purchases block of Apple's US listing, checked twice, once directly and once through a separate fetch, with the seller confirmed as SUBSUP PTE. LTD. in the same block. The plan names and the list of Talkie+ benefits come from the text Talkie's own website ships for its subscription screen. The cancellation and refund rules come from Talkie's Terms of Service, marked Updated 4/23/2025, and its FAQ.

What makes her feel real

A flat alternative to a Talkie AI subscription, the way it should feel

One price, no currency

Gals.ai sells three plans and nothing else. No Gems, no Gift Packs, no energy timer between you and the next message.

Memory on every plan

She keeps your name, your job and what you told her last week from the first plan up. Memory is the product, not a Pro perk.

Cancel from your account

Your plan lives in your account, so there is one place to stop it and no app store support queue in between.

Apple shows every price an app can charge, not the offer a given user sees, and Talkie's web paywall can show a first-year discount, so your screen may differ. Talkie is cheaper than Gals.ai on the yearly line and we say so; what you get for the money is different.

Talkie+ price in the US App Store

A man at a kitchen table reading a card renewal notice on his laptop, phone beside him

Apple's US listing for Talkie, now titled Talkie Lab, AI Playground, carries ten in-app purchases. Three of them are subscriptions. A line called 1 Month costs $9.99. A line called 1 Year costs $49.99. A line called 1 Month Talkie+ Pro costs $24.99. The $9.99 and $49.99 lines are not labelled with a tier name, but Talkie's own website names only two plans, Talkie+ Standard and Talkie+ Pro, so these are the Standard prices.

The other seven lines are currency and extras. Talkie Gems come in packs at $1.99, $4.99, $9.99 and $19.99. A 10 Level Talkie Gift Pack is $0.49, a 20 Level Talkie Gift Pack is $1.00, and a Talkie+ Plus Coin is $5.99. Talkie's site describes Gems as virtual currency for in-app features, and its subscription screen spends them on extra chat regenerations, rewrites and inspiration refreshes once the daily allowance runs out.

There is no Talkie+ Pro yearly line anywhere on Apple's list. If you want Pro, you pay monthly.

On Google Play the app is still called Talkie, Creative AI Community, with more than 50 million downloads and an update dated 10 October 2026. Play shows price ranges per app rather than an itemised list, and the ranges on the page we read could not be tied to Talkie with certainty, so we do not quote them.

  • Talkie+ 1 Month $9.99
  • Talkie+ 1 Year $49.99
  • Talkie+ Pro 1 Month $24.99, no yearly Pro line
  • Talkie Gems $1.99, $4.99, $9.99 and $19.99
  • Gift Packs $0.49 and $1.00, Plus Coin $5.99

Monthly Talkie+ is the expensive way to pay

Do the arithmetic across the rows, because nobody else will. Twelve months at $9.99 is $119.88. The 1 Year line is $49.99. Paying monthly for a year therefore costs $69.89 more, about 2.4 times as much, for the same subscription. If you already know you will use Talkie for most of a year, the monthly line is the worst way to hold it.

Pro is steeper. With no yearly Pro line, a year of Talkie+ Pro is twelve charges of $24.99, which is $299.88, six times the price of the Standard 1 Year line.

There is one honest caveat on the yearly price. The text Talkie ships for its web subscription screen includes a label reading Extra -50% first year and a price line built as a price for 1 year followed by a different price per year after. That is the shape of an introductory offer. Apple's list cannot tell us whether $49.99 is a first-year price that renews higher, so read the renewal line on your own purchase screen before you pay, and put a reminder in your calendar a week before the year ends.

The last cost to count is Gems. A subscription removes the daily chat limit, but regenerations, rewrites and extra inspirations still have per-message allowances, and Gems are how Talkie sells more of them. If you find yourself buying Gem packs on top of Talkie+, add them to the yearly total before you compare it with anything else.

  • 12 x $9.99 = $119.88, against $49.99 for the 1 Year line
  • Monthly costs $69.89 more over a year, about 2.4 times
  • A year of Pro is $299.88, six times the Standard yearly line
  • Check whether the yearly price is a first-year offer before paying

Our own three plans, every feature listed, are on the Gals.ai plans page.

Talkie+ Standard vs Talkie+ Pro and what each unlocks

Talkie's web subscription screen lists the benefits a Talkie+ subscription advertises: unlimited chat, more advanced chat, chat memory, free daily use of a reasoning model, faster responses, a custom chat bubble, extra chat inspiration, unlimited voice calls, customised AI responses, more reply and inspiration regenerations, a creation fast lane, a higher draft limit, more image generations, no ads, 10 percent extra Gems on purchases, free gachas each month, unlimited comments, a member badge and early access to new features.

What that text does not tell you is which benefit belongs to Standard and which only to Pro. The strings are shared by both plan cards, and the split is drawn by the live paywall after you sign in. So the honest answer to Standard vs Pro is that Pro costs $15 a month more than Standard on Apple's list, and you should open both cards in the app and compare them line by line before choosing the more expensive one.

Two items on that list matter more than the rest for anyone using Talkie as a companion. The first is Ad-Free. On the free plan, when Talkie's energy runs out, its own message says to wait until a set time or subscribe to Talkie+ for ad-free use. The second is Chat Memory, which we come back to below, because Talkie's own FAQ is unusually candid about it.

  • Pro is $15 a month more than Standard on Apple's list
  • The benefit split between tiers is shown only on the signed-in paywall
  • Ad-free use and chat memory are both on the Talkie+ benefit list

How to cancel a Talkie subscription and what the terms say about refunds

A man on a couch at night frowning at his phone

Talkie's Terms of Service, marked Updated 4/23/2025, are short on this and worth reading in their own words. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You must cancel before each renewal to avoid the next charge. Refunds cannot be claimed for any partial-month subscription period. And you can modify or cancel a paid subscription only through the app marketplace where you originally acquired it.

In practice that means an iPhone subscription is cancelled in Settings, under your Apple ID, then Subscriptions, and an Android one in the Google Play Store under Payments and subscriptions. The text Talkie's website ships for its own account screen says the same thing in five words: please manage your subscription in the app. Deleting the app cancels nothing.

On money back, Talkie's FAQ says recharges are generally non-refundable, except in cases of system errors or duplicated transactions. Because Apple or Google took the payment, a refund request for a store purchase goes to them, not to Talkie.

One more thing to know before you leave. Talkie's Export Data page says the file it gives you contains your email address, username, gender and age. Your conversations are not on that list, and deleting your account permanently erases them.

  • Cancel only where you paid: Apple ID subscriptions or Google Play
  • Renews automatically, cancel before the renewal date
  • No refund for partial months; store refunds go to Apple or Google
  • Data export covers email, username, gender and age, not chats

The full walkthrough, with the steps for each device and what to save first, is in our guide to cancel a Talkie AI subscription on iPhone or Android.

What Talkie says about memory, in its own FAQ

A man in his late twenties smiling at his phone over morning coffee in a kitchen

Most companion apps promise memory and leave you to find the limits. Talkie's FAQ answers the question directly. Asked why the AI forgets previous conversations, it says AI memory capacity is technically limited, causing older conversations to be forgotten, and that efforts are underway to retain more history.

That is an honest answer and it tells you what you are paying for. Talkie is built around a huge library of community-made characters, which is its real strength, and a platform that size treats long-term memory as a best-effort feature. Chat Memory appears on the Talkie+ benefit list, but the FAQ does not say the problem goes away when you pay.

If the thing you want from a subscription is one companion who still knows your sister's name and your job interview in a month, test that before you commit to a year. Tell the character three specific facts on day one, do not repeat them, and ask about them on day four. Any app's marketing is less reliable than that test.

  • Talkie's FAQ says older conversations are forgotten because memory is limited
  • Chat Memory is listed as a Talkie+ benefit, without a stated limit
  • Test any app with three facts on day one and a question on day four

We describe that test, and what real long-term memory looks like, in our guide to AI girlfriend apps with long-term memory.

Three things the Talkie store pages and terms disagree on

Reading the four sources side by side turned up three mismatches a buyer should know about.

First, billing periods. The terms say any paid subscription shall be paid in monthly installments. Apple's list sells a 1 Year line at $49.99, and the website's subscription screen has a Yearly toggle. The yearly plan exists; the terms simply have not caught up with it.

Second, the age line. The terms set a minimum age of 14 in the United States. Google Play rates Talkie Teen, citing sexual themes, users interacting and in-app purchases. Apple's US listing rates the same company's iPhone app 18+. Three documents, three different answers to who the product is for.

Third, the name. On iPhone, the app Talkie's website points to is listed as Talkie Lab, AI Playground, and its App Store description talks about multimodal AI models, MiniMax Text-01 and DeepSeek-V3, content creation and sharing, without describing character chat at all. The in-app purchases on the same listing are all Talkie+ and Talkie Gems. If you search the App Store for Talkie and wonder whether you found the right app, the seller name, SUBSUP PTE. LTD., is the thing to check.

None of this makes Talkie a bad product. It does mean the terms document is the least current of the four, so treat the store's purchase screen as the authority on what you will be charged.

  • Terms say monthly installments; Apple and the web sell a yearly plan
  • Minimum age 14 in the terms, Teen on Google Play, 18+ on Apple
  • On iPhone the app is listed as Talkie Lab, seller SUBSUP PTE. LTD.

Is a Talkie subscription worth it, and who should pick Gals.ai instead

Talkie+ is good value for one kind of user. If you enjoy browsing a giant library of characters, making your own and sharing them, and you mostly want the daily limits and the ads gone, the 1 Year line at $49.99 is cheaper than any Gals.ai plan. We would rather say that here than have you find out after paying.

It is a weaker buy if what you want is one relationship that builds over months. The things that matter there are memory, a companion who reaches out to you, and a price with no currency attached. Talkie's own FAQ says memory is limited, Talkie waits for you to open the app, and the subscription sits next to four sizes of Gem pack.

Gals.ai is built the other way round. One companion at a time, a memory store she reads before every reply, messages she starts herself in the morning and at night, and three flat plans: Hello at $9 a month billed yearly or $12 month to month, Sweetheart at $19 or $24 with unlimited texting and her texting first, and Soulmate at $39 or $49 with voice calls. Messages are never counted on any plan. Try the chat at the top of this page, then create your account when you are ready.

  • Pick Talkie+ for a huge character library at the lowest yearly price
  • Pick Gals.ai for one companion who remembers and texts first
  • Gals.ai plans from $9 a month billed yearly, no coins or Gems

How to check every number on this page yourself

Everything here can be verified in a few minutes, and you should, because subscription prices change.

For the prices, open Talkie Lab, AI Playground on the US App Store in a browser and scroll to Information, then In-App Purchases. Confirm the Seller line reads SUBSUP PTE. LTD. in the same block, because App Store pages also show other apps' purchases in their recommendation carousels further down. On 14 October 2026 the listing showed version 2.61.600, released 9 October 2026, and an 18+ age rating.

For the rules, read talkie-ai.com/static/service, section 1.5 on subscriptions and section 1.4 on fees, and talkie-ai.com/faq for the memory and refund answers. The Export Data and Delete Account pages are linked from the footer of every page on talkie-ai.com. As a control, an invented address on talkie-ai.com returned a 404 on 14 October 2026, so the pages that answered 200 are real documents, not a catch-all.

Is Talkie Plus worth it?

It is worth it if you use Talkie most days and want the daily chat limit and ads gone, and the $49.99 yearly line is the cheapest way to get that. Monthly billing costs $119.88 a year. It is a weaker buy for long-term memory, which Talkie's own FAQ says is technically limited.

What does Talkie+ Pro include?

Talkie's site lists Talkie+ benefits such as unlimited chat, chat memory, unlimited voice calls, a daily reasoning model, more image generations and ad-free use, but the split between Standard and Pro is shown only on the signed-in paywall. Pro costs $24.99 a month, $15 more than Standard.

How do I cancel my Talkie subscription?

Cancel where you paid. Talkie's terms say you can cancel only through the app marketplace where you bought the plan, so use Apple ID subscriptions in iPhone Settings or Payments and subscriptions in Google Play. Deleting the app does not cancel. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.

Can I get a refund from Talkie?

Usually not from Talkie itself. Its terms rule out refunds for partial-month periods, and its FAQ says recharges are generally non-refundable except for system errors or duplicated transactions. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded, if at all, by Apple or Google, so the request goes to them.

Does Talkie+ remove ads?

Yes, Ad-Free is on Talkie's list of Talkie+ benefits. On the free plan, Talkie's own message when your energy runs out says to wait until a set time or subscribe to Talkie+ for ad-free use. Google Play also marks the app as containing ads.
