PolyBuzz subscription price on the web and in the app

The monthly prices are the same wherever you pay: Poly Standard is $9.90 a month, Poly Premium $19.90 and Poly Ultimate $29.90. Those three lines appear on Apple's US listing and in the plan data on polybuzz.ai/membership.

The difference is the yearly plans. The web sells Standard at $99 a year, Premium at $199 and Ultimate at $299. Apple's listing has no yearly plan at any tier. Each web yearly plan costs exactly ten months of the monthly price, so a year on the web saves $19.80, $39.80 or $59.80 against paying monthly in the app, which is 16.7 percent on every tier.

The web card shows the yearly plans as a per-month figure first, for example $16.6 a month for Premium, with the $199 total beside it and a struck-through price above that. The struck-through yearly figures are $652, $1,306 and $1,948, between 6.5 and 6.6 times the price you pay. We found no plan on either storefront that charges those amounts, so read them as decoration, not as a discount you are earning.

If you are sure you will use PolyBuzz for a year, the web yearly plan is the cheapest way to hold any tier. If you are not sure, monthly is the safer buy, because it is the shortest commitment without the weekly markup.

The weekly PolyBuzz plans: the most expensive way to pay

PolyBuzz sells weekly billing in two places, and in both it is the costliest route to the same tier.

In the app, Apple's listing carries Poly Standard Weekly Plan at $4.99. Renewed for a year that is $259.48, more than twice the $118.80 cost of Standard billed monthly, and $20.68 more than a whole year of Premium billed monthly.

On the web it is sharper. In 4 of our 17 requests to the membership page, the default card was a weekly plan with a first-week discount. One version showed Premium at $9.90 for the first week against a struck-through $25, with the plan itself priced at $14.90 a week in the page data. The other showed Ultimate at $14.90 for the first week against a struck-through $37.30, which is the weekly plan price. Kept for a year, those come to $769.80 and $1,917.20, against $199 and $299 for the yearly plans at the same tiers. The Ultimate weekly route costs 6.4 times the yearly one.

The card leads with the first-week price and labels it 60% off. The price you pay from week two appears only as the struck-through number next to it, or, on the Premium version, not on the card at all. That is the detail worth checking on the confirmation screen before you pay.

If you are already paying weekly and intend to keep PolyBuzz, moving to the yearly plan on the web is the biggest saving available to you.

How to cancel PolyBuzz subscription

Cancel in the place you paid, because three different parties can bill you for PolyBuzz.

If you subscribed in the iPhone app, Apple bills you. PolyBuzz's own FAQ gives the steps: open the Settings app, tap your Apple ID at the top, tap Subscriptions, choose the PolyBuzz subscription and tap Cancel Subscription, then confirm.

If you subscribed in the Android app, Google bills you. The FAQ's steps: open the Google Play Store app, open the menu, tap Subscriptions, choose PolyBuzz and tap Cancel Subscription, then follow the prompts.

If you subscribed on polybuzz.ai, PolyBuzz bills you directly, and here the FAQ says nothing: it documents only the Apple and Google routes. The membership page has a button labeled Refund&Unsubscribe under the plan table. Sign in, open polybuzz.ai/membership and use that button. If it does not settle it, email [email protected], the address PolyBuzz's terms and FAQ both give, with your account email and the date and amount of the charge.

Deleting the app cancels nothing. And if you paid in more than one place, cancel each one, because stopping an Apple subscription tells PolyBuzz's web billing nothing.

Cancel PolyBuzz subscription before you delete your account

Order matters here, and PolyBuzz's terms are the reason.

The Terms of Use, last updated 1 June 2026, list three conditions an account must meet before it can be deleted: it is not associated with any dispute, there is no outstanding charge or issue with it, and the premium services purchased under it have expired. So an account with a running subscription does not qualify for deletion yet.

The terms also say deletion is irreversible, that PolyBuzz cannot help you retrieve anything afterwards, and that you are deemed to have waived your rights to paid services on that account, which you cannot carry over by registering again.

The practical order: cancel the subscription where you paid, let the current period run out, then delete the account from Setting, Account, Delete. PolyBuzz's FAQ confirms your benefits stay active until the end of the period you have paid for, so canceling early costs you nothing you have not already paid for.

PolyBuzz refund: what the terms and the stores say

PolyBuzz's terms start from no. The Terms of Use say that, subject to applicable laws, users are not entitled to any refund for a completed purchase without due reason, and that no refund request will be accepted on the ground of a child's purchase made by mistake.

The only refund PolyBuzz commits to in writing is for its own error: if it finds a typographic error in pricing, it may cancel the order and refund the money within 90 business days.

Where you paid decides where you ask. For an iPhone purchase, request the refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. For an Android purchase, request it through your Google Play order history. Both stores decide under their own policies, not PolyBuzz's. For a web purchase, use the Refund&Unsubscribe button on the membership page or email support, and state the reason, since the terms only rule out refunds without one. A weekly plan you did not realise renewed at a higher price is a reason worth stating plainly.

If you are thinking of disputing the charge with your card issuer instead, know that the terms send disputes to binding individual arbitration under Delaware law, with a class-action waiver.

What PolyBuzz's terms leave out about its own plans

Section 9 of PolyBuzz's Terms of Use describes the premium service on iOS and on Android as available in a monthly plan with multiple service level choices. It does not mention weekly plans or yearly plans.

Both exist. Apple's listing sells a weekly Standard plan at $4.99, and the web membership page sells yearly plans at $99, $199 and $299 and, to some visitors, weekly Premium and Ultimate plans. So the document you agree to describes a narrower set of plans than the storefronts sell.

The auto-renewal sentence does cover every plan: a premium plan renews automatically unless it is canceled on or before the last day of the subscription period, and you are billed on the day you subscribe and on each renewal until you cancel. The terms also warn that rates can change with or without notice.

None of this is unusual in the category, but it is why the storefront and the confirmation screen, not the terms, are where you learn what you are actually paying.

Is a PolyBuzz subscription worth it?

For variety, it can be. PolyBuzz is a character platform with a very large library of user-made characters, and Standard at $99 a year on the web is one of the cheaper ways in this category to remove ads and unlock unlimited chats.

For memory, read the tier table before you pay. PolyBuzz's own membership table gives Standard and Premium the same Long Memory row. The Permanent Memory row, along with the Overture, Lumina, Conqueror and Saga models, is ticked for Ultimate only. PolyBuzz's FAQ also says the AI's memory capacity is technically limited and it may forget earlier conversations over time. If remembering you is the reason you are paying, only the $29.90 tier claims more than Long Memory.

And avoid weekly billing unless you really do mean a week or two. On the web the Ultimate weekly route costs more than six times the yearly plan.

For web prices, open polybuzz.ai/membership. The prices follow your location: our first request came from a server in Poland and showed zloty, not dollars, so every web figure here comes from a US connection. Reload a few times and you may see the weekly version of the card.

The short path polybuzz.ai/terms redirects to PolyBuzz's error page, as an invented path does, which is why we once wrongly concluded PolyBuzz published neither terms nor prices on its site. It publishes both, one click from the homepage.
